Hey man, cool idea. I like it.
Here are my thoughts:
The deck is a little all over the place, with lots of iterations of 1 copy and 2 copies of cards. I think it would benefit from a little focus.
Personally I think
Marionette Master and
Revel in Riches are a little at odds with each other. One wants you to kill your own stuff, and the other wants you to kill your opponents stuff.
I think that
Marionette Master is the better option for a win con.
Revel in Riches does next to nothing if your opponent is playing a creature light deck. With
Marionette Master, you are in
charge of your own destiny as it were.
So, we want to get
Marionette Master out quickly, and we want to choose to put the counters on her from the
Fabricate trigger. This would make here a 4/4 and mean we only have to lose 5 artifacts (generally speaking. Obviously this number will increase if you're up against lifegain
shenanigans).
So with this in mind, here's where I'd start:
4
x Disciple of the Vault4
x Ruthless Knave4
x Leaden Myr4
x Palladium Myr4
x Hope of Ghirapur4
x Gleaming Barrier4
x Marrionette Master
4
x Dark Ritual4
x Card draw spells
4
x Removal spells
20
x SwampHere I'd stick to mono black. You can use the
Leaden Myr,
Palladium Myr and Dark rituals to get Marrionette Master out as soon as possible. Often turn 4, occasionally sooner.
Once she's out, you get to go nuts.
Disciple of the Vault is an excellent one drop in this deck. It's like a mini master and fills out the curve nicely.
Ruthless Knave is a star in this deck. Get him out the turn after the master. You activate a
Leaden Myr and
Palladium Myr to pay for the Knave's ability, sacrifice one of them to create two treasures. Sacrifice those two treasures and tap a remaining land to activate it again, sacrificing the other myr, creating two more treasures. Sacrifice those two treasures just because. That's 6 artifacts dead and 24 damage in that turn. Of course that's ideal scenario, but I'm sure you get what I mean.
The same kind of thing works for the
Gleaming Barrier. Sacrificing it to the
Ruthless Knave will trigger the master as well as create a treasure to sac to trigger the master again. HoG can sac itself and fills out the curve in the 1 mana slot so is a nice addition.
That's just my take on the deck. I think it's a really cool idea and would be a lot of fun to play.
As with any deck, this would need playing a few times to see where it is falling short and adjusting accordingly.
Whether what you end up with looks like this or something completely different, I hope you have a lot of fun playing it.
Cheers!
