Kaervek the Merciless

I'm trying to build an EDH deck with Kaervek the Merciless as the Commander. Looking online, it appears that the suggested way to build out this deck is with creatures & spells that 'punish' players. Preferably, I'm looking to find cards that punish just my opponents rather than punish me as well. There are, however, a few that global punishments that fit the 'theme' too well to pass up, such as Pestilence!

A good friend who plays competitively suggested "storm" cards would fit into this deck pretty well, so I'm sideboarding Tendrils of Agony & Empty the Warrens until I get a chance to experiment with the current build. I think Grapeshot would fit a little better than ETW, but I don't own a copy of that card at this time. Besides, it's not like Goblin tokens can't be put to use!

I think I may need to think of 1 other card to swap out for an additional land card...
