o what happens when I win 3 coin tosses with Mirror March when I’m casting a creature for it’s Mutate cost? As I understand it’s still a creature spell upon being cast although it is “merging”. We’ll use Vulpikeet as our mutate creature example


Do the tokens still come into play mutated to the same creature I’m targeting? or are there 3 other creatures that come into play not merged into anything?

If you choose to mutate a creature you will not flip coins for Mirror March because no creature entered the battlefield. Mutating causes the characteristics of a creature already on the battlefield to change it does not enter the battlefield.
