If you want to go a little more aggro Pious Wayfarer could be a nice budget option.

That's a difficult question. Every card in your list has it's very reason to be inthere.
I wouldn't add a whole playset, though. I think Gingerbrute, while it has haste has no other upside (being unblockable is nice, but you have Gryff's Boon to give your creatures flying).
So I would try do swap 2 Gingerbrute or 1 Gingerbrute + the 1 Spirit Link for 2 Pious Wayfarer and test how they do in actual matches. If they perform you could try to play the whole playset instead of Gingerbrute. If they don't perform just undo the swap and forget my stupid idea.  ;)

Not quite, there are cards (I think)  that affect the ability lifelink, so they would not affect spirit link.

I was thinking of replacing the snow lands with basic lands and dump the on the ice and replace with path to excile

If you can efford it, do it. Path to Exile is an absolute premium removal.
