Hahaha this is so insidious xD
He was born of the Mirari, thrust out of his homeland before he was even aware. Left without purpose or meaning, he found both in the pits.

It might be fun, but short lived fun though.
Still funny :D

Even if you get thrumming stone out and then cast a rat what then?

You got all the rats on the field but they can not attack that turn

Rest of your library is just basic swamp land cards

to answer al your weekend questions:

does this actually work? I have no clue. it is al theory.

what do you do about someone countering thrumming stone? yeah than your done.

Even if you get thrumming stone out and then cast a rat what then?  the thrumming stone is a may ability so you could just do like 16 rats, than pass the turn and repeat after a wipe. since it is may you can choose when to stop the endless stream of rats.

and YES this deck wass pure for the fack of it. it is porpably only fun to play ones or twice, but still fun tho.

I find all these very memetic idea totally awesome. the only thing that stop me from building is that you actually need to buy 60+ versions of the same card

Do people think, that this would actually work consistently because they don't know what removal nor counterspells are, or is it just because of the meme?

Nah, this deck would rarely work which is why it would be so boring, you would either get out your combo or be stuck playing the exact same creature every turn until you get enough mana for Merelen again. Also as soon as somebody plays a krosan grip/board wipe you're basically finished. So yes, this is just a meme deck.
