Muraganda Petroglyphs might be good because you have a lot of vanilla creatures, but also because muragand(A PE)troglyphs

ty for the suggestion, ill try it out when I get the chance and put it in the deck.

Edit: Editing this comment instead of making a new one but I tried Muraganda Petroglyphs in 4 1v1s with my friend but it didnt fell like it had much impact, esp. b/c I only have 3(4 technically) "nothing" apes. Even in situations I had it and 1-2 "nothing" apes on field it felt overshadowed by most other +x/+x cards I had in play at that point.

I really like the idea of this deck, but man, there just aren't a lot of apes out there, so it's hard to come with any suggestions for creatures. Which sucks, since the creature count is kinda low imo. If you aren't that dedicated to the idea of every creature counting as an ape AND representing an ape in the artwork, I would definitely go the changelig/shapeshifter way too (which you've already done a little bit) - try out Masked Vandal, it's really great! Otherwise, I like the pun route that @Bonethousand suggested, where you go with cards like Apex Devastator; ie cards that either references apes or ape-related stuff.

There are apes in shAPEShifters anyway..... so that could indeed be a wat to go.

Jokes aside, looks like a fun deck to play.

I would also consider Hunter's Insight, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Lifecrafter's Bestiary for draw; Khalni Ambush for removal/land slot; and Monkey Cage for risky flavor.
