Also a bit of a silver bullet against Tron. Going to be in a lot of Modern sideboards I suspect.

Edit: Just seen that Sylvester12 already mentioned this. I agree completely. Has a lot of stax applications in EDH, but it's for sure to mess with Tron, which has been a tier 1 modern deck for years and has had a bunch of stuff banned at various times, such was its dominance.

Green Tron can still work around it with the green mana and artifact such as Chromatic Sphere, but Eldrazi Tron is screwed against this.

More importantly, it hits hard on Vintage Shops, 12-posts and also since it stops Force of Will it will definitely see a bunch of Legacy play!

I'm guessing it will stop all free spells. But you can spend some colored Mana anyways to cast your Eldrazi or artifacts, istn't it?

Yup, you can. But Eldrazi Tron for example relies on only colorless lands and wants to have colorless mana to cast its Eldrazis (https://www.mtggoldfish.com/archetype/eldrazi-tron#paper), so it will be difficult for it to play through a Void Mirror (at least it'll probably be slowed down).

It will also slow down stuff like Sol Ring into Talisman/Signet. (Or Mana Vault / Mana Crypt into something on T1 in cEDH.)

I correct myself: I forgot that Eldrazi Tron is playing 4x Cavern of Souls, of course... :/

Does Garth count as a legendary creature that was clearly made for commander?

Garth is the wildest card I've ever seen and I love it and hate it in equal measure.

I absolutely LOVE the design space of Garth. It's like the Tibalt the Chaotic playtest card. It's brilliant.

But the power level discrepancy of what it can do is insane.

They obviously thought "An iconic spell from each colour and an iconic artifact".

And you end up with something that can make a Black Lotus. And a Shivan Dragon.

Naturally there are a million ways to break it, but even just playing it "fair" is going to be a hell of a time.

What a card.

Absolutely.  He wouldn't be 5-color had he been designed specifically for any other format.

Absolutely. 5-color nonsense, here it comes!

It's the end of the day so most of you have seen all of these cards already, but just in-case you haven't here they are. I'm pretty much always going to be late posting these things.

Young Necromancer
4B
Creature - Human Warlock
When Young Necromancer enters the battlefield, you may exile two cards from your graveyard. When you do, return target creature card from your graveyard to the battlefield.

2/3

Steel Camel
3
Artifact Creature - Camel
Steel Camel enters the battlefield with two +1/+1 counter on it.

Steel Camel doesn't untap during your untap step as long as it has a +1/+1 counter on it.

At the beginning of your upkeep, you may move a +1/+1 counter from Steel Camel to target creature.

2/2

Aeve, Progenitor Ooze
2GGG
Legendary Creature - Ooze
Storm (When you cast this spell, copy it for each spell cast before it this turn. The copies become tokens.)

Aeve is not legendary if it's a token.

Aeve enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter for each other ooze you control.

2/2

(Image in attachments)

2
Artifact Creature - Construct

Monoskelion enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter.

1, remove a +1/+1 counter from Monoskelion: Deal 1 damage to any target.

1/1

These last two are just Patriarch's Bidding and Mogg Salvage.

I'm pretty sure the elemental incarnations are going to be the cycle of cards that can be cast for zero mana.

Maro's Clues we've found:

• a character that first appeared in a Magic novel finally becomes a legendary creature (Garth One-Eye)
• “for each other Ooze you control.” (Aeve, Progenitor Ooze)
• “If an Insect card was milled this way,” (Grist, the Hunger Tide)
• Creature – Elemental Incarnation

Maybe:

• a theme on only a handful of cards in Modern Horizons gets a larger presence (storm? modular? There are a lot of things this could be).

Ezuri may have a new friend? When I first looked at this card, I thought it was absurdly good, but then I realized it only applies to green creatures. Still powerful, and I think a lot of multicolor commanders that make green tokens will really like this card even if they don't care about the buff.

The cycle of 2 colour artifact indestructible lands is interesting.
Mainly play Casual Multiplayer and EDH.
