I love how Codie creates an interesting deck restriction. Makes it seem difficult to put permanents into the deck.

However some permanents can be cast as sorceries and others can be cycled for value. Then there are spells which net you a creature as well as an effect.

This was an interesting deck building challenge. I just hope I never face off against Ruric Thar.
