Thoughts on Repository Skaab?
Utterly degenerate, in a good way if you're the one using it, with things like
Patriarch's Bidding or
Zombie Apocalypse around.
For my deck itself, I currently have 8 targets for it including the
Patriarch's Bidding, so there are good odds at it pulling something back up. It just happens to be yet another amazing 3+ Zombie in that giant pile of 3+ Zombies fighting for a slot that I have no idea what I'd do to give it the space. I
wish they had given it a smaller body, like 0/1 or 1/1, if that could have brought the cost down to at least 2. Cuts there are much easier.
Not sure if you are interested though in Crowded Crypt but I figure if stuff is dying that I may as well utilize stuff dying and make more zombies.
On paper I like it. In practice, it's a 3 mana mana rock that only gives black and eats a removal spell before you can build up the 6 other mana and/or corpse counters to make good use of it.

Fleshbag Marauder+1
Gleaming OverseerAfter a few tests, I've come to the conclusion that
Fleshbag Marauder is underwhelming in this deck. It just doesn't lean hard enough into recursion to make it useful. Decks that run so few creatures that a one time sac of their choice would still hurt are far less common than those that can pitch a token or some ETB creature that already served its purpose.
I'll give the Overseer a few tests now, see if it helps any. If not, I'll probably put the
Ghastly Gloomhunter back in until I can get ahold of a
Noxious Ghoul or
Repository Skaab and see how those do.
