Cool deck! I wanted to try Umbris myself.

Why no Dauthi Voidwalker? Seems like a very nice include to me.

Also Planar Void and Leyline of the Void could be nice (and incidentally hate on graveyard strategies).

Completely missed Dauthi Voidwalker.  Thanks for the suggestion.  I'll likely add it in after the first couple plays.


I didn't go Planar Void because I didn't want to hose my own graveyard.


I didn't feel that I needed the leyline.  I've got 5 other ways to exile graveyards.  I'm also running Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and Butcher of Malakir.  I didn't want to be too oppressive on the initial build.

NOTE: Add Ashiok, Dream Render or Opposition Agent to exile the entire deck (prevents opponents from search for 5 cards they would get to keep)

Throw in either the black/ blue pacts and force your opponents to cast them. If they cant pay the cost on their turn its an insta-kill with Hive Mind

Quite likely.  After fishbowling it, I suspect it may need more creatures as well.  Going to playtest it first.  And then make a bunch of changes.

It looks interesting. I've started building a similar deck myself, but trying to keep it more in a "control" atmosphere. Each version can always be some kind of inspiration :-)
