Strip Mine
got reprinted as much as say
Reliquary Tower
, but spending at least $15 on a piece of colorless tech that slots into every one of your decks is not an insignificant influence on how much people are willing to lean toward the more budget options.

I think that it depends on the situation, I always run some land destruction on my sideboard, but I don't like to use them in casual games with friends. However if I'm playing a tournament I always run at least 4 land destruction spells.
