Not certain exactly what you are asking.  Please clarify if this is not on point.


In Magic: the Gathering, a card is defined by its English name.  The official text for each card is in the official database maintained by Wizards of the Coast.  This database is currently called Gatherer.  It used to be called Oracle.  We refer to the official text of a card as its Oracle text.
