Revision 4

Friday at WarChest, 1-2-0, 7th/10

0-2 vs. Embercleave Torbran
1-2 vs. Angels
2-0 vs. Rakdos Sacrifice

- Really need the missing Luminarch Aspirant and Portable Hole.
- Not sure I see the point of Tomik, Distinguished Advokist – maybe it was there to counter a specific thread in that current meta, but I say no use for that at all. Or maybe it's just there because it's a 2/3 Flying for 2 mana, fair.
- Intrepid Adversary isn't really suited for this deck or format.

Revision 5

Tuesday at GamersWorld, 0-2 drop

1-2 vs. Niv to Light
0-2 vs. Izzet Phoenix

- Mana screwed game 2 and 3 in match 1, so it really wasn't so bad. Still, might need to fix the mana a bit.
- Oppo played super strictly in match 2, which was very unexpected and unwelcome, especially since he would've won anyway, and since this was a super low profile event. Asshole.
- Got a bye for match 3, couldn't bother to wait one hour so I dropped off for the first time. As a consequence, won't add this event to the stats.
- Really fucking need the fucking missing fucking cards.
- Elite Spellbinder is not that significant, for 3 mana.
- The mana base is fucked up, you can't have Mutavault together with cards that cost {W}{W} FFS.
- Law-Rune Enforcer is quite good, no clue why he isn't in the original list!
- While Estraction Specialist is definitely not bad, 3 mana is quite a lot for this deck.
- Cycling lands maybe?

Revision 10

Team Trios at WarChest, personal 3-1-1 (no personal ranking in this event)

2-0 vs. Lotus Field
1-2 vs. Azorius Spirits
1-1 vs. Niv to Light
2-0 vs. Azorius Control
1-1 vs. Azorius Control

- Ok so being chill and sticking to a meta deck might be a good call.
- Still, I really would have needed Settle the Wreckage in the side against Spirits, it's the only thing that could have saved me. I'll need to add that.
- With this list, all of the lands worked properly as intended. I sided out a Mutavault once, when I also sided out the Wedding Invitations, as there was less mana required. It kind of worked.
- I'm totally defenceless against Farewell. Pretty good against other removals too.
- Brutal Cathar is risky against Niv to Light to do their removals and ETB triggers, but I still prefer it over Skyclave Apparition.
- Declaration in Stone might be what is needed against Niv to Light and similar decks.
- Portable Hole wasn't too useful tbh.

In general very satisfied with both the deck and me playing it, didn't make many mistakes, was never discouraged, so most of the game is in our heads.
