Unifinity Incorrect Legality Designations
« on: October 12, 2022, 06:21:27 pm »
One of my decks Yahtzee: https://deckstats.net/decks/129847/2671497-yahtzee

It is marked as not legal in commander, as it includes Clown Car, Strength-Testing Hammer, and Vedalken Squirrel-Whacker, however, Wizards had specifically said there was specific cards in the Uninfinity set are legal in several formats.

Clown Car, Strength-Testing Hammer, and Vedalken Squirrel-Whacker are among cards from the Unifinity set legal in commander.

Proof:

This is an issue we're aware of.

Normally set legality issues can be solved in a matter of seconds, but having a set where some of the cards are legal in eternal formats the rest of the cards are legal in no formats is something new.

They'll be a fix.

I am in the process of making a Commander deck that one of the main themes of the deck is attractions and rolling dice because you rolling dice is how you in quote vist the attractions and the two themes work well with each other. However, on this site currently the cards that are actually legal in Commander are not list legal (however listed legal on scryfall.com).  Which makes it difficult to make the deck since I have use scryfall.com as a reference to see which ones are legal in order to make the deck on this deck and truthfully I would also like it be possible to have a section for the attractions since they have their own deck that they go in which is separate from the main deck which has 100 cards that includes the Commander which is like a sideboard which is called attraction deck (also has its own graveyard call the junkyard however these card can still go to exile even though they have a different back than normal cards have) however as far as I'm aware doesn't have a size limit which for my deck that separate attraction deck had to be put in a different section which I choose the mabeyboard and total number of attractions I put in 21 of the 22 legal attractions allowed in Commander. So to sum up what I am saying and what all of us in this discussion would probably agree is that all of the cards that are officially now legal in Commander now be listed on this site and I personally don't think that should limit to just Unfinity but all cards that become legal for each format appropriately.

It's fixed. I sincerely hope we never get another set where some of the cards are legal and some aren't.
