Really cool idea, although unless rule-zero'ed your companion is subject to the color identity of your commander.

Damn, I checked the rules and you're right. I thought that, since he's outside the 100 cards, he didn't have to be under the color identity restrictions. Thanks for the tip! I'll probably use him as a commander then
