Doubts about Horobi, Death's Wail as Commander
« on: June 17, 2024, 11:26:08 am »
Hi, I have a question about this commander (Horobi, Death's Wail). Does it kill my own creatures when, for example, when a creature dies, Yahenni, Undying Partisan gets +1/+1, does its own ability kill it if I have my commander on the battlefield? That's my question, because I'm unsure about this commander and in this deck, you can find many cards like Yahenni, Undying Partisan that activate abilities when the opponent's creature dies or things like that, and I don't know if I have to kill my own creatures when that happens.

I'm a bit new to deck building, but any help and critique are welcome. If anyone is interested in checking out this deck I'm talking about, you can find it on my profile under the name 'The Black Deck,' though it's the only deck I have public.

Yahenni's abilities do not target, so Horobi does not care.
