I am fairly new to Magic, but my husband has been playing for years (he took a long break though)  I have become obsessed and have well over 4000 cards now I cant see myself getting rid of them because our oldest plays now (hes 9) and I am sure our youngest will at some point so I save all my cards. My husband also saves all his cards (for amount he has around 6 figures in cards total not monetary) Which is kind of cool because he has a lot of older ones. He recently went through and build a deck that destroyed my new deck just from his stock pile. Albeit I was pissed because he made it to combat my new deck after he lost to it a few times, but hey thats magic.

Update, he has now played his deck multiple times in a  1v1 and  1v1v1 games, he has a 70% win rate and is very happy about it.  Only issue we are running into (and its more just him not knowing strategies yet) is playing the marauding raptors to early and not being able to play other creatures that would just die based on the damage dealt to them when they enter.  So far the mix of dinos and dragons has not been an issue and has worked out well.

Really need some feedback on this, I just dont know where to go with it, feel like its really vulnerable to flying and trample just not sure what to take away

Thank you everyone, right now he just plays with us and our friends, and this is the first real deck he has put the list together for, (hence why his 2 favorite creature are in it) were trying not to intervene to much but also want to make sure he can compete with our decks with it.  I think eventually it will go the way of the Dino deck and then he will make an mono red dragon.  We just taught him how to draft as well so I'm sure more deck making will become a passion.

Brandon's Dino/Dragon (build by a 9yr old)

Any suggestions are welcome, my 9yr old son build this deck based on some videos he watched and decks he has played against. I think he needs to add in some instants but not really sure which ones would work best and then what he then needs to take out.

any thought s on adding some royal assassin as a way to remove larger creatures once they attack me, or adding a tap able artifact or  enchantment that lets me tap a creature then get rid of it with royal assassin ?

yeah still tweaking it, will be a control dragon deck to battle his red dragon deck and a deck he has that I hate that make you discard and loss life each time you do. So want to add some counter cards to get rid of his multiple quest for the Nihil stone, a few creature he has that make you discard and multiple Liliana's caress. Playing on cutting it back to 60 with a 20 card interchangeable side board i can swap out depending who i am facing
