It definitly helps in many cases. The most problematic ones for me are sets like the Commander Decks. I can recognize if the set symbol if from a Commander Deck set, but i can never remember which one exactly (C15, C16, C18,...), so now i can check that at least. So now the next step would be to just show the abbreviation on the card with a possibility to mouse over it for the full set name.
Another thing that came to mind just now: Maybe it's possible to let the user decide what fields he wants to be shown over the cards? So people who dont need/want that much information can have a cleaner look, and i think it's always good to give the users the option to adjust those things as they want.

When viewing a collection with images, some property fields are shown on top of the card images. However, the edition of the card is not shown as a field. I can understand that it might not seem necessary, because the edition symbol is shown on the card, but i don't know every set symbol on top of my head. So i think it's a good idea to have the edition property shown the same way, and when i hover over it, it should tell me the complete edition name. Another "workaround" would be to look at the edition ID on the bottom left of the card, but that space is alreay occupied by the "amount". Also some older cards dont have their edition on their card at all, so i would still prefer to just add the property.

The color filter for the card database and the collection viewer looks for the color identity of the card. This is confusing, cause it does not state that anywhere (at least i don't see it). Also, i personally organize my collection through the colors of the cards, not their color identity, and i belive most people do so. We should have the option to filter by both means.

There should be an improved way to preselect fields when entering cards to the collection. On the card entry page, there are three different sections: "Card Database", "Direct Card Entry" and "Add by Collector Number". When i want to add many cards from the same edition, i can use the "Card Database" section and filter on that specific edition. When i then add a card, the field for the edition is automatically set to the specified set. But there is no way to preset fields like language or condition, so i still have to move to all these fields and select them with the mouse. With big collections it's kinda an uneccesary timewaste. Using "Direct Card Entry" has the opposite problem, here i can preselect all important fields except the Edition... I think what would be a good idea is to have a preselection section, where i can set a default value for all those fields, which also affect all card entry options. Maybe the "Card Database" section could still have the extra filters it currently has.

The Idea is to add revisions to the collections. At one point i f*ed up while managing my collection and it would have been nice to be able to go to an older version (it's more critical with collections than with decks i think, since collections can hold thousands of cards). I don't know if it should work exactly like the revisions for the decklists though. I think collections are modified way more often then decklists, and way more cards are stored in it. Maybe a simple changelog might be good enough.

The Idea is to add a feature that makes it possible to move a card to a different collection. For example, in the collection editor, each card should have a button which opens a small popup. In that popup i can declare how many copies of the card i want to move and into which collection. The current way is to delete a card in one collection and readd it into another collection, which is kinda bad.
It should also be possible to move multiple cards at once.

Being able to have multiple collections now, makes it somewhat nececarry to have a global view+search over all collections. Each user should have this "global view" by default as a seperate point in the dropdown menu of the collection list. It should not be a "real" collection (or a seperate data table in other terms), but more like a joint view of all collections.

Here is what i came up with until now. Might add stuff if something comes to mind.

• a joint view over all collections
• it should generally work the same way as the usual collection-viewer
• each collection should have a setting that includes or excludes the collection from the global view (default is include)
• the global view should have a column to show from which collection the current data row is pulled from
• Icing on the cake would be to make it possible to manage the data of the different collections through the joint-view as well. For example, if i got new cards that i need to add in different collections, i need to manage each collection seperatly. So maybe the global-view could also have an editor, in which i can add cards and declare into which "real" collection the card should be added. The same goes for deleting and editing data-rows. I understand that this might not be possible in a clean way, but maybe it is

Das mit der Sammlung und den Vermerk find ich gut, aber mehrere Sammlungen eher als nutzlos. Du siehst durch den vermerk ja wie viele du in welchen Decks verbaut hast und welche du garnicht brauchst, vielleicht da eher sowas wie zum Tausch/ Handel anbieten was jeder sehen kann so das man untereinander evtl Karten die man nicht braucht untereinander mittels dieser Plattform tauschen oder verkaufen kann? Aber ansonsten eine gute Idee

Naja die 2. Lösung war ja auch nur der eventuell einfachere Weg mein Ziel zu erreichen, mir wäre die 1. Lösung generell auch lieber aber vielleicht ist das ja zuviel Aufwand. Eine Handels funktion unter den Nutzern ist sicher auch ne tolle Sache, aber eventuell ein zu starker Sprung. Immer schön schritt für schritt

Hallo zusammen,

ich hab mich noch nicht super lang mit der Kartensammlung auseinandergesetzt, also entschuldigt bitte wenn es schon eine Möglichkeit gibt das umzusetzen.

Ich hätte gerne eine Möglichkeit die Karten aus meiner Sammlung mit meinen Decks zu verknüpfen. Wenn ich ein neues Deck baue, und Karten aus meiner Sammlung benutzen will, dann habe ich keine Möglichkeit zu sehen ob diese Karten eventuell schon in anderen Decks verbaut sind. Man könnte wohl einfach die Karten die schon in Decks verbaut sind einfach aus der Sammlung entfernen, aber auch das finde ich nicht optimal. Als aktuelles Beispiel: Guild of Ravnica kommt bald raus. In dem Set werden die guten alten Shocklands mal wieder reprinted. Jetzt würde ich gerne nachschauen, wie viele Karten ich vom jeweiligen Shockland habe, damit ich weiß welche/wieviele ich noch kaufen muss. Wenn ich die Karten, die sich in meinen Decks befinden, aus meiner Sammlung entfernt habe, muss ich alle meine Decks durchgehen und die Schocklands darin zählen + die restlichen Shockland's die noch in meiner Sammlung verweilen. Andersherum, wenn ich die Shocklands, die schon in Decks verbaut sind, einfach in meiner Sammlung lasse, dann weiß ich nicht wie viele von den Shocklands in verwendung sind und wie viele nicht. Wenn mich jetzt z.B. aus Guilds of Ravnica zwei Legendary Creatures interessieren mit denen ich neue Commander Decks machen will, kann ich nicht herausfinden wieviele bzw. welche Shocklands ich noch nachkaufen muss um Sie in die neuen Decks zu tun oder zu verplanen.

Ich hoffe man kann einigermaßen verstehen was ich will...

Lösungsvorschläge:

1. Wenn ich eine Karte aus meiner Sammlung einem Deck hinzufüge, gibt es in der Sammlung einen vermerk. Sagen wir mal ich besitze insgesamt 4x Lightning Bolt in meiner kompletten Sammlung. Nun baue ich ein neues Deck und nutze 2x Lightning Bolt aus meiner Sammlung und füge sie dem Deck über den interaktiven Deckeditor hinzu. Nun speichere ich das Deck. Wenn ich mir jetzt die Sammlung anschaue, werden mir immernoch 4x Lightning Bolt angezeigt, allerdings mit irgend einer art Markierung dazu. Die Markierung sagt mir dann das einige der Karten in Decks verbaut sind. Dazu erscheint neben dem "Lightning Bolt" ein Button (z.B. ein '+' Symbol). Wenn man da drauf klickt, klappt eine Auflistung auf, in der ich sehe, wie viele Lightning Bolt's in welchen Decks verbaut sind.

2. Mehrere Sammlungen. Ich stell mir das als die einfachere Lösung vor. Man kann einfach mehrere Sammlungen erstellen. So kann ich mir z.B. eine Sammlung "Tauschkarten", "übrige Karten", "in Decks" und/oder auch für jedes einzelne Deck eine Sammlung. Wenn ich wissen will wie viele Shocklands ich übrig habe, schau ich in meine Sammlung "übrige Karten" und "Tauschkarten". Wenn ich wissen will wie viele Shocklands verbaut sind schau ich in meine Sammlung "Decks". Optimal wäre dann auch noch wenn man jederzeit eine "vollständige Sammlung" besitzt, in der einfach alle Sammlungen nochmal zusammengefasst werden.

Falls irgendwas unverständlich ist bitte einfach nachfragen ich versuchs dann besser zu erklären. Ich hoffe die Ideen erscheinen euch Sinvoll und nicht zu schwer umsetzbar.
