For other users' reference, it's this deck.

What format is this for? No matter what it's for 148 cards is a lot.

I've updated Historic legality. There were a few sets that weren't marked. It should be updated soon.

For budget card draw, I can also recommend Ancient Excavation, Custodi Lich, and Whispering Madness. While not budget, Cryptbreaker is the best 1 mana zombie you can have. Low cost, card draw, makes tokens to improve your scry power, and puts creatures in the graveyard.

While Consuming Aberration, Contingency Plan, and Taigam's Scheming aren't technically card draw, they do put more cards in grave which is an advantage for The Scarab God.

So I got a good look at the decklist and did some sample hands... and it looks real good. All of your card counts look fine, although you may have trouble with card draw if you can't get Niv-Mizzet out. The only glaring issue is having too many colourless sources trying to pay Niv-Mizzet's cost. That and the deck's speed may not be enough to both forward your gameplan in the early game and stop other players from winning. In game, you'll have to assess whether it's a good idea to play Niv-Mizzet, or hold up mana. Otherwise I just have a few swaps to suggest.

Be sure to let us know how the games go.

Life's weird for me right now, but I'm hoping to be able to do a thorough look-through of this deck by Monday. If you haven't read the updated Intro to cEDH thread it's a good place to start.

Why this commander instead of Niv-Mizzet, Parun? It's a one-card combo with stuff like Curiosity.

Speaking of which, what is the deck's combo/gameplan? It looks like the plan is to play the control aspect first and then win through incremental damage.

Should I add a section for "cards I'm not playing" and add this info in there?

Yes, that is a good idea, as it's something frequently look for in a primer. When you integrate this reply into the primer I'll promote it.

Are there any other ways to buff Baeloth other than the vows? Is he any good if his power is only 2?

How often does Kardor get removed? Do you have to often re-cast him with Netherborn Altar?

Besides Feed the Swarm, what else can you do against enchantment-based decks? Do you just have to accept that it's a bad matchup? What tech pieces can you include in a meta with lots of enchantment decks?

I would also like to know why you're not using any of these cards:

Agitator Ant
Bedevil
Chaos Warp
Curse of Opulence
Geode Rager
Ghoulish Impetus
Karazikar, the Eye Tyrant
Parasitic Impetus
Slaughter Specialist

Why Dire Tactics over something like Swords to Plowshares or something that can hit more card types?

Hey so remember back in my first post where I showed the link between Uktabi Orangutan and Uktabi Kong? Well now we have Kibo, Uktabi Prince from Jumpstart 2022. The new art for Uktabi Orangutan still has those two monkeys in the background.

The basic lands from All Will Be One all tried to fit the phyrexian symbol in the art. Some are more clear than others. These lands also form a panorama.

Resistance Skywarden references Ogre Resister.

In D&D 5e, one of the material components for Tasha's Hideous Laughter is a feather waved in the air. This is visible in the artwork for the card.

I think everyone noticed this, but whatever. Gingerbrute is based on the Gingerbread Man fairytale. "Run, run, run as fast as you can! You can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Man!". Gingerbrute can only be blocked by creatures that are equally fast.

Shadowfax, Lord of Horses has reminder text to show you the meaning of haste. Get it?

Gleeful Demolition's flavor text references Kuldotha Rebirth. It makes sense considering how similar they are.

The cookie from the Throne of Eldraine trailer appears as Syr Ginger, the Meal Ender.

Gnomes may be extinct across the multiverse. The only times that non-artifact gnomes appear are in the D&D sets and Quarum Trench Gnomes from legends.

Veteran Bodyguard looks like Lou Ferrigno.

Raptor Hatchling and Bear Cub have similar flavor texts.

The Wasteland from eternal masters shows a destroyed City of Brass.
