Alright! Second post! I've revised my Nath discard deck. My focii were bring a bunch of protection on board for key spells (Nath specifically), and strengthening my discard focus/elf tribal secondary motif (not sure if this word can be used in deck building, but seems to fit the context lol).

Thoughts?

Awesome! Thanks for the advice! That would definitely build the synergy, and gives me a decent list to work from (basically building with what I have ATM).

Thanks man! That's one thing I know I need more of: forced, mass, discard. The secondary strategy is to go wide (elf tokens) and supplement with big green creatures.

Deck Reviews / [EDH / Commander] Nath, of the Gilt-Leaf--Discard

Nath, of the Gilt-Leaf--Discard

First deck I've ever constructed (getting back into MTG after almost 20 years). The goal is to cause opponents to discard their hands while amassing an army of tokens. Win strategy: swing for lethal damage with Craterhoof Behemoth, or a mass of elf tokens via sadistic hypnotist. Definitely open to honest critiques, tear it up! The notes I've made to myself thus far are:

1. The deck hinges on Nath being in play. Nath needs protection.
2. A bit light on creatures?
3. Slightly high mana curve
4. Perhaps needs to be even more discard focused

Ps. Some of the sideboard listed will be main, once I actuall get ahold of the card.
