So what is everyone's favorite Planeswalkers? This can be for story reasons, gameplay reasons, or any other reason.
I like Sorin as a character. Despite being a Black walker, he does things that are for the betterment of society. He also hates that he has to feed on blood (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Blood), which I think is an excellent trait.
Also, while only recently introduced, I really like Nahiri.
So, what about everyone else?
-
I like Ajani. He's a kitty, and I love kitties.
-
i like derreti because he is really fun to play and has a really good ultimate and zezzeret agent of bolas is the most broken besides jtms because of his ult
-
I like how powerful Ajani, Mentor of Heroes (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Ajani%2C+Mentor+of+Heroes) is. I mean, he freakin' kicks trash! I have one and I have to say that just his first plus one ability is amazing, and his minus eight? Don't even get me started. ;D
-
I run a G/W Counter deck... You already know I got the bad ass (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Bad+Ass) kitty in my deck. #TeamAjani

All hail Garruk, Apex Predator (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Garruk%2C+Apex+Predator)! If this was squared of against any Planeswalker, other than itself, then it would definitely win. I love its troll +1 ability; Destroy target Planeswalker. The fact that this is a +1 ability shows that it was made solely to kill. Imagine this, It starts out with five loyalty counters and you play right after someone has placed the 8th loyalty counter on Ajani, Mentor of Heroes (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Ajani%2C+Mentor+of+Heroes). It would first troll your opponent, and assuming it did not lose loyalty counters, you would finally end up with a Garruk, Apex Predator (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Garruk%2C+Apex+Predator) with one loyalty counter, three 3/3 Black Beast creature tokens with deathtouch, and an opponent with an emblem "Whenever a creature attacks you, it gains +5/+5 and trample. This means you can attack with three 8/8 creatures with trample and deathtouch plus a few other cards boosted up likewise. That means if your opponents is at 20 with creatures with defense totaling 20, and you have 3 creatures (other than the three beast tokens) that are 1/1, they would end up at -2 life. It also destroys creatures and gives you life equal to that creatures defense.
-
I like Kiora, the Crashing Wave (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Kiora%2C+the+Crashing+Wave).
She is a little fragile, but she is cheap to play and is able to protect herself with her +1. Like a lot of other planeswalkers, she basically gives your opponent a time limit to do something about her too; otherwise lose the game. Once you unleash her -5, it's going to be really hard for them to keep up with a 9/9 Kraken every turn. It also pairs nicely with Whelming Wave (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Whelming+Wave).
I'm not the biggest fan of Garruk, Apex Predator (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Garruk%2C+Apex+Predator). Not only does he look like garbage, but his high cmc of 7 almost ensures that he won't be around for long. By the time you get him out, your opponent surely has built up some sort of defense/offense already. They'll be able to target Garruk pretty easily and deplete his loyalty. Kiora, on the other hand, comes out a lot sooner in the match and will have fewer threats to deal with (except burn decks, but that would be true of any planeswalker).
-
Jace, the Mind Sculptor (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Jace%2C+the+Mind+Sculptor) he's just so powerful, lets you control your opponents draws or filter your own, repeatedly Brainstorm (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Brainstorm), and bounce creatures. All while having an ultimate that will just end the game an absolute nightmare (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Nightmare) for your opponent.
-
Sarkhan Vol (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Sarkhan+Vol).
Super fun. His Ult is great.
-
Sorin markov (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Sorin+Markov). His +2 is just way too nice
-
Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Nicol%20Bolas%2C%20Planeswalker) is a boss.
Elspeth Tirel (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Elspeth+Tirel) is also lots of fun to play with.
On a self-sufficient note, Gideon, Champion of Justice (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Gideon%2C+Champion+of+Justice) can handle the battlefield.
-
Garruk and Elspeth are my favorite Planeswalkers.
Garruk is a total Beast!
I've played mostly with Primal Hunter and all of his abilities are insane. Offense/defense by summoning Beasts, card drawing ability (targeting Primeval Titan (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Primeval+Titan) is no joke), and his ultimate is just wow.. it's hard to keep a straight face on when you're attacking for the win with a mass of 6/6 Wurms lol. ;D
Elspeth is appealing to me as she's a badass holy righteous warrior Knight commander lady.
I've played mostly with Tirel and have really only used her top 2 abilities. Casting her at the right time, summoning 3 Soldiers, and then successfully protecting her with them for subsequent turns is truly something special. Left unchecked, and paired with other shenanigans like say Gavony Township (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Gavony+Township) or Mentor of the Meek (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Mentor+of+the+Meek), her army is definitely a force to be reckoned with.
Honorable mention goes to Jace.
I missed out on The Mind Sculptor so I've never experienced playing with his madness, but Beleren and Memory Adept are crazy fun to play with as well. Milling your opponent for 10 right off the bat, and on subsequent turns if Memory Adept is properly protected, is incredibly absurd. I was never really one for milling, but winning with Memory Adept's middle ability is inspiring and instantly reminds you that hit points aren't the only way to lose.
-
I am a fan of vensrr the sojourner, cause of all his abilities. I mean -1 unlockable. Its a game ender.
-
Ral Zarek (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Ral+Zarek) use to do some pretty nasty stuff in my Epic Experiment (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Epic+Experiment) deck back in the day.
-
My favorite planeswalkers are Ashiok and Kiora.
-
Sarkhan Vol (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Sarkhan+Vol) for my Dragon-Goblin Deck. Kiora, the Crashing Wave (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Kiora%2C+the+Crashing+Wave) for my Sea Monsters Deck. Original Elspeth Tirel (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Elspeth+Tirel) for my triggered red-white soldiers, although I wonder (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Wonder) why there is no "knightish" version of Elspeth that is putting Knight Tokens with Vigilance (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Vigilance), lol ??? or a red-white one that is giving to triggered Red-White Soldiers, like those I sport. There should be more Tribal versions of Planeswalkers. All is Ajani and Elspeth. If that is the phantasm we have - designers should look further into deepening it. :)
-
Any Garruk or Liliana. Jave is pretty cool too.
-
Oh and Sorin, absolutely Sorin!
-
Dack Fayden (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Dack+Fayden)
I would put him in all my EDH decks if I could.
-
I vote Elspeth, Knight Errant (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Elspeth%2C+Knight-Errant) for:
double +1 !
+1 put a soldier, probably a little poor, two soldiers were much better, however nvm
+1 targeting Mirran Crusader (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Mirran+Crusader) (in my wb tokens): 10 flying damages !!!
-8 Insane emblem !
-
For me its a three way tie between Jace Architect of thought (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Jace%2C+Architect+of+Thought) Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Nicol%20Bolas%2C%20Planeswalker) and Tezzeret the seeker (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Tezzeret+the+Seeker)
-
Right now my favorite planeswalkers are Ugin, the Spirit Dragon (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Ugin%2C%20the%20Spirit%20Dragon) and Sarkhan Unbroken (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Sarkhan%20Unbroken). Mostly because they fit into my EDH decks very nicely (Ugin in my Oogaly Deck [colorless beatdown] and both Ugin & Sarkhan in five color nerd dragon tribal).

Elspeth, SunĀ“s Champion (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Elspeth%2C+Sun%27s+Champion)

Jace, any jace really with me but my favorite of him is Telepath unbound. I am a blue mage at heart :D
-
Ral Zarek (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Ral+Zarek) ten times outta ten :D
-
"Favorite" is a difficult concept for me. Right now, though, I am quite taken with Ashiok.
-
My favorites are Chandra, Gideon, Elspeth and Garruk. Kiora is good as well.
-
My top four favorites are the only 4 that I own. Jace, memory adept (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Jace%2C+Memory+Adept)... Liliana of the dark realms (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Liliana+of+the+Dark+Realms)....Garruk the relentless...and Chandra ablaze (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Chandra+Ablaze). These guys (and gals) are like my fantastic four of the magic universe. Jace mills hard with his plus 0, mill 10 cards. Liliana was the first planeswalker I ever got, she's attractive, her skills are dangerous (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Dangerous) and she completes my black shade deck marvelously. Garruk is the coolest because his transformation takes extra care and practice to perfect which makes me really focus on his deck construction (also the black wolf tokens are awesome too). Lastly chandra ablaze (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Chandra+Ablaze) is just fantastic. I could just keep dropping her phoenix in the grave for her effect and just add it right back to my hand. And to use all my red burn spells from the graveyard in any order i choose....red hot victory on a plate.
-
I've got to say Liliana of the dark realms (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Liliana+of+the+Dark+Realms) is my top favorite, I've spent the most time looking for her and you could literally build a deck around just her. If using cards like liliana's spector, liliana's shade (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Liliana%27s+Shade), liliana's reaver (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Liliana%27s+Reaver) in combination with cards like the nightmare (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Nightmare) and quag sickness (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Quag+Sickness) you'll have a dangerous (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Dangerous) deck.
-
Mine is Jace, Memory Adept (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Jace%2C+Memory+Adept). His -7 is bad, but if you do his 0 ability every turn, you can mill your opponent out in 5 or so turns!
-
You're significantly undervalued the fun of making everyone draw. While admittedly there is a risk, it is quite effective if well paired.
Sphinx's Tutelage (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Sphinx%27s+Tutelage), Fate Unraveler (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Fate+Unraveler), Jace's Erasure (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Jace%27s+Erasure), Lorescale Coatl (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Lorescale+Coatl), Underworld Dreams (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Underworld+Dreams), to name a few.
-
I like Nissa, Vastwood Seer (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Nissa%2C+Vastwood+Seer) aka Nissa, Sage Animist (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Nissa%2C+Sage+Animist). Look at the top card? Free land! Need a blocker? Ashaya, the Awoken World. And her ult. Here, have 6 more lands that are now 6/6. The only problem I have with lands becoming creatures is the board sweepers
-
It would be between Sorin, Solemn Visitor (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Sorin%2C+Solemn+Visitor) and Garuk, Apex Predator. I think ignoring mana cost garuk has the most powerful abilities of any plainswalker ever. I also have fond memories of surprising people with him in my abzan control list. I love Sorin as a character for many reasons including that he has strong morals and imprisoned the Eldrazi. Also I love his +1.

1. Narset Transcendent (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=de&card=Narset+Transcendent)
I was so hyped when my favorite creature card became a planeswalker x)
Also fits perfect to the Jeskai theme
2. Venser, the Sojourner (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=de&card=Venser%2C+the+Sojourner)
R.I.P :`( Dam you Phyrexia
3. The new Jace (Jace, Telepath Unbound (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=de&card=Jace%2C+Telepath+Unbound))
Its so much fun to have him on the table
-
my favorites are Garruk relentless (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Garruk+Relentless) and Sorin, Lord of innistrad (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Sorin%2C+Lord+of+Innistrad). One can transform and make deathtouch wolf tokens and even tutor through your deck. The other Can destroy up to three planeswalkers and then return them to YOUR side of the field. Good bye Bolas, Tezzeret, and Tibalt and hello victory.
