Hi, this is a poll.
-
I abstain as the entirety of the Oathed Gatewatch is not represented. Ajani just busy getting new storylines started, currently giving the authors all kinds of room. Why kill possibility, right? Still, he deserved a voting slot.
As a mental exercise with absolutely no voting ramifications, Jace is the one who will be removed from the storyline next. Not permanently, just to let him get back to the Guildwatxh, Ravnica and that gorgon Commander that Wizards has been pushing.
Nissa / Chandra / Liliana doesn't seem to need a resolution, good story lines there in that 3D triangle of friendships/painfulhistory/loyalties/oaths/deepnature/obligationstodemons. So they stay around in story I think.
The telegraph is buzzing too loud on Gideon losing his invincibility. It's going to be a humbling lesson for him, but he'll live. He maybe scarred though, and need to 'find' himself on some plane away from story for a while.
Anyway, cool idea for discussion but respect the cat. Until then, my vote means nothing.

Sorry, I thought there could only be 5 options. But I disagree about replacing Jace. WoTC needs to be churning out cards which make your opponent just plain hate you! And that is why Jace is good.(My brother tells me to add that I am a mill player.)Yup! ;D
-
Jace. His cards are either boring or broken and blue can be such an interesting color for a planeswalker.
-
I think it would be interesting if they vring about some of the old legends as Planeswalkers... To name a few, Gerrard (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Gerrard), Serra (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Serra) and Baron Sengir (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Baron+Sengir) (preferably as a red/black vampire alternative to Sorin to give Sorin a rival to add him to the Gatewatch). Gideon needs to retreat from a few sets, he has way too many active options atm. With Nissa going blue and green, i can see the others starting to pick up new color options in the future. Would love a rerelease of Tamiyo, Moon-Sage.

That's one of the other reasons Jace will take a trip back to Ravnica, they coverin blue with the Nissa switch. Ajani took leave this block (so far) as W/G was extra at the start- got Gids and Nissa.
Hard blue Jace, Hard Black Lili, hard red chandra, hard white gideon. Nissa goes from hard green to wishywashy bluegreen, so Jace is colorwheel expendable, if they replace right.
That is just color wheel justification, though. Other clues push Jace towards a non-gatewatch storyline for a while.

What if Koth of the hammer (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Koth+of+the+Hammer) joins the gatewatch? I can see some interesting stuff going down with him being a member with him versus the phyrexians. Also Koth, Nissa and Chandra might get along pretty well.
-
So replace, you mean one has to have died? Right? If so I wouldn't shed any tears if Gideon died. No offence Gideon fanboys/girls. :P
Nicol Bolas (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Nicol+Bolas) will smite (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Smite) Gideon with unholy power and then reanimate (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Reanimate) him as Zombie Gideon, or Zideon. Instead of Indestructible, he'll have when this creature enters the graveyard, return him to the battlefield with one less loyalty counter.
Chandra will go into rage mode, like she does, and accidentally sets fire (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Fire) to Jace's cloak. Jace proceeds to run around screaming because even though he might wield blue mana, he can't, however, conjure water.
Liliana starts laughing, hysterically, as she watches the ensuing chaos.
-
And then nissa simply ponders: "What strange things humans are..."

And then proceeds to put out the fire (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Fire) by beating Jace to death with her Sage Animist staff. :P

I remember when the only important planeswalkers were us as players.
-
Those are the days that should live again.
-
When you say "Us the planeswalkers", in what context are you referring to? Do you mean as simply players or how we get along outside of the game? I'm curious because I myself have only been playing MTG for little under 3 years I'd say.
-
In Magic the players (us) are 'planeswalkers'
-
Its like the theme
-
@Soren841, I get that. but blueberry314 said; "I remember when the only important planeswalkers were us as players."
That means at one point in time that WOTC actually focused on US rather than the simple (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Simple) marketability of the cards themselves.
-
I think he was joking.. meant before there were planeswalker cards...

I'm PMing u I think I sent it twice cuz it's not showing up for me >->
