It will keep the board clear for attacks from your demons (or a massive army of Shadowborn Apostles).

Dictate and Grave Pact (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Grave+Pact) are definitely serviceable, but I think that the demons provide enough board control already. If your Commander meta has lots of tribal decks running around, they would definitely be good to slot in. As of now, I prefer to focus more on card advantage.

Mind Slash (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Mind+Slash) just isn't doing enough for me in a 4 player Commander game for it to be worth it, but Skirsdag High Priest (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Skirsdag+High+Priest) is a definite possible inclusion. We do have a good few sac outlets, and the ability is undeniably powerful.
