Title: Cube & Unstable Variants
Post by: HowlingLotus on December 15, 2017, 05:28:07 am
My playgroup is looking to pool our cards together to make a couple Cubes that are 100% Unstable cards (all of #1-#216).

I'm sure there are other people who have already done so or plan to, and I have a question. Did you or are you planning on using the various versions of cards to put in the Cube? Some cards are fundamentally the same in name only (Everythingamajig (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Everythingamajig) and Very Cryptic Command (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Very+Cryptic+Command)) while others are small changes such as art of flavour text (Extremely Slow Zombie (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Extremely+Slow+Zombie) and Novellamental (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Novellamental)). It would be a shame to overlook the other 3-5 versions of some cards, but it feels that it goes against the singleton idea of Cube.

Thoughts?

A cube doesn't need to be singleton if it's fun to play.
