Are they just there for the cycle, and if so wouldn't Opt (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Opt) be better?

It also uses ornithopter (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Ornithopter) with deduction module to make infinite mana.

More treasure maps not only would make metal work cheaper but also give tokens for The Antiquities War (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=The+Antiquities+War).
