this is a competitive food chain (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=de&card=Food+Chain) combo deck in the EDH format. the general being a sliver is not relevant for the gameplan. "The first Sliver" is just a combo component for being able to cascade your whole deck for the win.

The  idea is to use Food Chain (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=de&card=Food+Chain) and either Eternal Scourge (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=de&card=Eternal+Scourge), Squee, the Immortal (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=de&card=Squee%2C+the+Immortal) or Misthollow Griffin (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=de&card=Misthollow+Griffin) to generate infinite mana, then cast, exile (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=de&card=Exile), and recast The First Sliver to cast your entire library. That's why it's called "Food Chain (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=de&card=Food+Chain) Sliver". Self explanatory.

Wow... that actually turned out pretty good for once.

I think you're missing the point Khalitas18. The point of this deck isn't to play slivers, it is to play cascade. You could do the same deck with Maelstrom Wanderer (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Maelstrom+Wanderer), but that means cutting out white and black.
