Delirious forest (https://deckstats.net/decks/79861/681735-delirious-forest-?revision=10)
Experimenting with delirium once again this time monocolor green over my first regular standard delirium deck "horrific visions (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Visions)" from the expansion shadow over inistrad. Let's see what happens.

Necrogen Mists (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Necrogen+Mists) is better than Creeping Dread (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Creeping+Dread) because it costs 1 less mana and your opponent discard at his upkeep (not yours).
Golgari Charm (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Golgari+Charm) is a fair sideboard card, but maindeck I would use Abrupt Decay (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Abrupt+Decay) instead.
Having access to green, I would definitely play Fauna Shaman (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Fauna+Shaman).

I don't understand the advantage of the deserts towards Barren Moor (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Barren+Moor) and Tranquil Thicket (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Tranquil+Thicket), since you don't have any desert-matters card in your list.
This deck is Legacy-legal, so I would definitely play a better mana base (you don't even have to run original duals and fetches to iprove it).
As sad as it sounds, a legacy BG deck without Deathrite Shaman (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Deathrite+Shaman) and Abrupt Decay (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Abrupt+Decay) is a bad deck.
I see a lot of 3x cards (a lot!) and not a single 4x, this is definitely a hint of suboptimal deckbuilding.
A good madness engine I can remember (probably better than any you're currently running) is Zombie Infestation (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Zombie+Infestation), which I saw in conjunction with Krovikan Horror (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Krovikan+Horror) and Squee, Goblin Nabob (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Squee%2C+Goblin+Nabob) (I'm not saying this would be a good configuration for your deck, just you should evaluate it at some degree).

The deserts are just to add a type to my graveyard since i have plenty of basic lands a need non basic land to play if needed or just discard it to help me produce delirium.
-
I actually never had problems with playing with 3 of a kind since I only use what i think should be needed to do the same work, and it has worked pretty well for me, still it is actually a deck in progress.
-
The deserts are just to add a type to my graveyard since i have plenty of basic lands a need non basic land to play if needed or just discard it to help me produce delirium.
Deserts count as Lands for delirium. Desert (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Desert) is a land type, not a card type.
-
Not sure what kind of deck this is trying to beat, but even a tier 3 Legacy would obliterate (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Obliterate) this. You literally stand no chance against any tier 1 decks. You have no discard, no counter magic, no way to interact with the board, no deathrites, no true names, no brainstorm (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Brainstorm), no Delvers, no Anglers, no duals, not even fetches. I can't even really figure out what you're trying to do with this deck. Think you need to go back to the drawing board on this one man.
-
The types are creature sorcery instant enchantment tribal artifact and land.. im forgetting one
-
You missed planeswalker, but there's an 8th type that I always forget (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Forget). It's not Arcane is it?
-
No we just can't count lol. Types are artifact, creature, enchantment, instant, land, planeswalker, sorcery, and tribal. We got them all lol
-
Ignoring all the flaws in the deck I'm gonna be very straight with y'all. Delirium is not likely going to be able to keep up in Legacy
-
If he's gonna play a graveyard deck, just play reanimator or Dredge. This deck just loses to turn 0 Leyline.
-
Leyline is really only run in Vintage, which is where dredge shines. Legacy reanimator is one of the most powerful decks in the format
-
Emrakul, the Promised End (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Emrakul%2C+the+Promised+End) Delirium is a good deck in Modern
-
Leyline is really only run in Vintage, which is where dredge shines. Legacy reanimator is one of the most powerful decks in the format
Where do you get that info? I run 3 Leyline of the Void (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Leyline+of+the+Void) in my sideboard for Legacy. Leyline is a fine card in Modern, Legacy, AND Vintage. Dredge is still a force to be reckoned with in Legacy. Also Leyline incidentally houses Lands and anyone running Cabal Therapies and/or Veteran Explorers.
-
It's a lot less common. Leyline is an auto 4 of in every Vintage sideboard, if they even dream of winning anything
-
Oh yeah for sure. It's still played in other formats though
-
Plus other formats can get away with less powerful hate and not really suffer ;D
-
Oh for sure. I'm playing Grixis (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Grixis) Control/value, so I want to 2 for one you. Being 2 for oned by Graveyard cards is not what my deck wants to happen lol.

I agree with soren, i think delirium is actually not keeping up with any format, and it has to be combined with madness to help that process or other mechanics, it is actually my most unstable deck in my arsenal and some how respected among my friends they know if they are going to play with something new i will use this deck to measure theirs.
-
Sorry guys i just jump (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Jump) up like this, i have limited connectivity on internet since hurricane (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Hurricane) Maria here in PR, today is the 41th day after the hurricane (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Hurricane) and finally today i have the power restored in my street.

To many comments concerning the deserts, one thing is you have basic lands in actually any deck right so I know that desert (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Desert) is not a type is a sub type but land alone is other type as simple (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Simple) as that and i have it because it's cycling ability if I don't need it will cycle it meaning I have to discard it and draw another card simple (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Simple) right I don't have to waste all my deck to produce dellirium just i need to put there what I really need, I know there is many more mechanics out there besides madness and dellirium I can still use flash (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Flash) back also on this one, now yes this deck is weak and unstable and some how I managed to win with it even I surprised myself with it, anyway I'm a casual player just having fun with my friends I don't need to win all the time specially when I'm not winning anything in concrete like money.
-
if you want to play a graveyard deck, try something like this. This is probably the lowest price of entry deck into Legacy (no Burn isn't cheaper). If you want a more grindy and less glass cannon deck check out Black/Blue reanimator.

What I'm saying is the following:
- In this deck, Barren Moor (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Barren+Moor) is strictly better than Desert of the Glorified (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Desert+of+the+Glorified)
- In this deck, Tranquil Thicket (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Tranquil+Thicket) is strictly better than Desert of the Indomitable (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Desert+of+the+Indomitable)
-
Reanimator is NOT cheap.
Red Black Reanimator is around $1k. It's the same price as Death's Shadow (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Death%27s+Shadow) in Modern. Name another tier 1 deck that is less than that. I'll wait.
-
I withdraw (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Withdraw) my original statement of Burn not being cheaper. I didn't realize how much Guides and Eidolons had dropped. Still Burn is a tier 2 deck at best and that's HIGHLY meta dependent. If you're going into a room full of Czech Pile and fair blue decks, then Burn it up. But most of the other tier one decks are just going to destroy Burn.
-
https://www.mtggoldfish.com/metagame/legacy/full
BR Reanimator has only 1,78% meta share. That's more like tier 2 than tier 1. Burn is the cheapest tier 3 deck. BR Reanimator is the cheapest tier 2 deck and it costs about 2,3 times as much as burn. DnT is the cheapest tier 1 deck and it costs about 1,2 times as much as BR Reanimator.
-
For sure Death and Taxes is a "better" deck, but it seems like the guy wants to play graveyard deck. But Death and Taxes still loses to a turn 0 Sire of Insanity (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Sire+of+Insanity) unless they go exactly, draw plains (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Plains), draw Swords.
-
Also using the percentage of played decks in the meta is a bit fallacious. According to your stats Miracles is a tier 2 deck and that deck is definitely a tier 1.
-
That's my point. Reanimator is $1k. That's not cheap, and you can build it far cheaper and it'll still work fine. Also u/B reanimator is better because it has FoW
-
honestly the strength of UB is not FoW, but more so Brainstorm (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Brainstorm). The problem with BR is that it's got a handful of fatties they can't get rid of them. With UB you can shuffle them away with Brainstorm (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Brainstorm).
-
I prefer Ponder (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Ponder) over Brainstorm (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Brainstorm) personally. I don't like putting 2 back. Yes it sets up my draws but I don't like it and I can't hope I get a good draw, because I know what it is already. With ponder (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Ponder) u can scry and a chance to shuffle ur deck
-
A good reanimator deck can't get a hand full of fatties. It only has like 6 creatures. RB adds more fast mana to be explosive, blue goes slower but more consistent
-
They are both good. The point to Brainstorm (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Brainstorm) in Reanimator though is you almost never want the fatties in your hand, you want them in your deck to be able to ditch with Exhume (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Exhume). Brainstorm (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Brainstorm) lets you shuffle away those cards. Ponder (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Ponder) is better late game, but Brainstorm (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Brainstorm) is better all around card. Hiding cards in response to a Thoughtseize (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Thoughtseize), digging for a FoW when your opponent casts a spell you can't handle, shuffling away unwanted lands.
-

Lol variance happens bro. In burn you shouldn't draw 3 lands in a row when you only have 18 in the deck, but it happens. A control deck with 20 lands, 10+ tappable sources "shouldn't" get stuck on mana. It "shouldn't" happen, but it does. BR has no way to shuffle away the fatties and if they are disrupted early they really have no way of clawing their way back out, whereas UB does. They are both good decks, it just depends on what you're trying to do.
-
It's literally not possible to have all 6 of your creatures in ur hand without rigging your starting hand
-
You're taking my post way too literal bro. Having more than 1 reanimation target in your hand is not good. Handful was a hyperbole, not fact.
-
Thoughtsieze yourself 🤷♂️
-
It's option, but usually not a very good one. I can't say I haven't Cabal Therapy (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Cabal+Therapy) myself in Dredge though. Brainstorm (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Brainstorm) Shuffling away your reanimation targets is the optimal play.
-
I enjoy the discussion here but there's one thing I completely disagree with :)
the notion that a reanimator doesn't want creatures in its opening hand.
I find my reanimator deck pretty potent and it is built on the idea of HAVING a biggy in your hand.
I've tried to explain early on ( Soren will remember :) that I have more ways to get a creature in the GY from my hand than from my library, therefore ....
I don't want to hijack (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Hijack) this thread from padillatester but please allow me to post a link

Its actually built on having max 6 or 7 targets in ur deck, with the rest being cards like entomb (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Entomb), dark ritual (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Dark+Ritual), and reanimate (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Reanimate).. but ok

Man what's up with you guys lol? Both of you guys are taking me WAY too literally. I am not saying you want NO fatties in your hand, sometimes that is good. Dark Ritual (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Dark+Ritual), into Collective Brutality (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Collective+Brutality), take your kill or counter spell, ditch a Griselbrand (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Griselbrand) to Brutality, and then reanimate (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Reanimate) is just as good as entombing and then reanimate (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Reanimate).
-
As far as your list is concerned Borg I think you are better off boarding the Abrupt Decays and just playing UB. I don't see the appeal of playing BG over playing UB, with G splash for Abrupt Decay (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Abrupt+Decay) in the board. At this point you're a slower version of BR but you don't have any of the good things that Blue brings, IE FOW, Brainstorm (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Brainstorm), Ponder (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Ponder), etc.
-
Yeah don't run removal at all in reanimator. Run disruption, it's a very fast combo deck and removal just hurts ur chance of going off turn 1
-
I had the most amazing game yesterday. After both our turn 1 plays the board was
They had a plains (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Plains)
I had no land and a Jin-Gitaxias
-
Most lists run a 1 or 2 of Abrupt Decay (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Abrupt+Decay) sideboard to answer Deathrite, Cage, RIP, Containment Priest (http://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?lng=en&card=Containment+Priest)
-
At this point you're a slower version of BR
Could you point me to one of these BR versions ?
I'd like to see if they're really faster myself ;)
-
They use the red spells that give mana to speed their game up
