Revision 11 (https://deckstats.net/decks/123947/1189229-straight-burn?revision=10)

+2 (SB) Shard Volley (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Shard+Volley)
Changed amounts:
+1 (SB) Searing Blood (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Searing+Blood)

Match ups:
UW Control: Mostly bad because of Timely Reinforcements (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Timely+Reinforcements).
If games go long, your opponent will flashback Timely Reinforcements (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Timely+Reinforcements) using Snapcaster Mages as well.
Need to close the games out very VERY quick. The chances are, you will have a bad time.
1 Searing Blaze (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Searing+Blaze) out // They don't play much creatures anyway.
1 Skullcrack (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Skullcrack) in // Hopefully it does something against your opponent.
Grixis (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Grixis) Shadow: Quite favorable. Since large number of their cards are focused on self-damage, it is easier to finish them off.
However, it is necessary to be careful. Temur Battlerage can quickly overturn any advantage you once had and they do have number of
counterspells.
2 Searing Blood (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Searing+Blood) out // You can't kill your opponent's creatures most of the times.
2 Searing Blaze (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Searing+Blaze) out
2 Dismember (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Dismember) in // Even if this can't kill your opponent's creatures, you may get another turn due to -5/-5
2 Kari Zev's Expertise (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Kari+Zev%27s+Expertise) in // Great counter punch against your opponent's threat. If resolves, this wins games.
Mirror Match (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Mirror+Match): Most burn decks have are RW. Cards like Lightning Helix (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Lightning+Helix) and Deflecting Palms are extremely dangerous (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Dangerous).
However, odds (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Odds) are not too bad if you play your hands right. . . and if your opponent doesn't have insane anti-burn sideboard cards like
Kor Firewalkers or Circle of Protections.
4 Eidolon of the Great Revels out // You don't want to kill yourself here. Trust me.
1 Skullcrack (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Skullcrack) in // Lightning Helix (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Lightning+Helix) and Deflecting Palms.
1 Forked Bolt (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Forked+Bolt) in // Pretty decent burn spell
2 Anger of the Gods (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Anger+of+the+Gods) in // Allows you to reset (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Reset) the board
Dredge : Extremely favorable. Dredge decks are significantly slower than burn decks and they have very little interactions.
There is a good reason why I took all the graveyard hates out. Be wary of Creeping Chills and save Skullcracks.
Burn little creatures that Dredge decks poop out, and you will find yourself in a winning position.
4 Eidolon of the Great Revels out // Don't do much against Dredge.
3 Anger of the Gods (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Anger+of+the+Gods) in // Yes. Yes.
1 Skullcrack (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Skullcrack) in // Creeping Chill (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Creeping+Chill) is disgusting.
Humans // Spirits : Pretty unfavorable. Whether they have Aether Vial (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=AEther+Vial) in their opening hand or not is extremely crucial to the game.
If not, hopefully you will get a fair match up. If your opponent can flash (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Flash) in their threats at ease, however, you are going to suffer.
4 Eidolon of the Great Revels out // Most of the time, you are in desperate need of life points.
4 Goblin Guide (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Goblin+Guide) out // This does nothing against your opponent's creatures.
1 Skullcrack (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Skullcrack) out // It doesn't do much.
3 Anger of the Gods (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Anger+of+the+Gods) in // Hopefully this does something against your opponent's onslaught (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Onslaught).
1 Forked Bolt (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Forked+Bolt) in // Human (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Human) match ups are the reason why Forked Bolt (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Forked+Bolt) is in the sideboard. Kills Thalia, Noble Hierarch (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Noble+Hierarch), etc.
2 Dismember (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Dismember) in // Creatures growing out of hand? Dismember (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Dismember) them.
3 Smash to Smithereens (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Smash+to+Smithereens) in // Aether Vials are the only target. However, it is definitely worth bringing these bad boys in.
Hardened Scales (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Hardened+Scales) and Affinity : Pretty unfavorable. Similar to Humans // Spirits match ups, these artifact decks can pile up
quite quickly against you. Thankfully, you do have tons of artifact hates in your sideboard.
1 Skullcrack (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Skullcrack) out
4 Goblin Guide (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Goblin+Guide) out
4 Eidolon of the Great Revels out
3 Smash to Smithereens (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Smash+to+Smithereens) in
2 By Force (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=By+Force) in
3 Anger of the Gods (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Anger+of+the+Gods) in
1 Searing Blood (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Searing+Blood) in
1 Forked Bolt (https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Forked+Bolt) in
Bogles // Enduring Ideals : You curl up. Fetal position. You cry. Flip the table. Leave.
Tron : Quite favorable. Yes, sometimes Tron decks are just downright unfair. Statistically burn decks are faster, however.
