After more testing I had actually INCREASED the amount of land to try to improve my consistency.

My backup plan has been the 13/13 kraken, or even just Teysa with prot creatures swinging for the fences.

The deck originally used Teysa as the commander, which is why there is so little blue.

I think I'm more likely to just straight up add the gilded lotus instead of replacing, but if I can really be consistent with only 36 mana then there are a couple of infinite damage combos I might build in....

Also, I had never even seen False Cure before, that shit is crazy!

Some of the current state of the deck is budget driven, I'm not going to buy a Temple of Enlightenment for this deck, or an Archangel of Thune, but I appreciate the feedback and I'll see what I can do... I probably won't make any more changes until after I get a chance to playtest it this weekend to get a better feel for how to tweak it.

My normal win condition actually involves Colossus of Akros (Or any other large creature) with Wall of Reverence and Sanguine Bond.

I camp out gaining life and murdering enemy creatures while my Sanguine bond kills them all. Backup plans involve swinging for large amounts of damage with massive creatures.

My meta is pretty slow right now, and with Oloro as my commander I generally still have over 30 life at turn 7 or 8 which is when I usually stabilize my board position.

My worry is that in a more general meta the deck won't be fast enough to stabilize before getting pushed low on life.  Should I be trying to bring my curve down and swap out some of my 6,7 and 8 drops for 2,3, and 4 drops or is it reasonable in this format to try to improve my ramp so that I have more mana and can stabilize sooner?

Consider as well Sunbond and Spikefeeder, which is an infinite life and infinitely large creature combo.
