Languish is NOT the same as Damnation. I am going to have to suck it up and buy Damnation.

David_Leavitt plays a similar deck running 3x Glissa and 2x Wurmcoil Engine. He also runs a 4x Thopter Foundry 3x Sword of the Meek spread. His mana base is close to mine however he runs a 1x Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

I had issues dealing with Affinity last night. I feel going up on Languish or adding Damnation (if I want to spend $80) to the side would be good. I think a large part of the problem last night was the fact that I wasn't drawing any of my spot removal.

You know what would be REALLY good in this deck, and make it look more like a legacy deck... Tarmogoyf. Damn it...

I have a serious problem dealing with Tron.

I really don't like Leyline of Sanctity in the side; switch for anti-Tron pieces.

Split the 4x Negate in the side to 2x Negate and 2x Disdainful Stroke.

Aggro decks aren't really a problem; most of the time.
Storm is not a problem.
Living End is a problem; add graveyard-to-exile hate. Considering Surgical Extraction. Surgical Extraction works very will with Fulminator Mage, Beast Within, and Maelstrom Pulse against Tron.

--Add changes to sideboard.

Have you tested this deck yet? It seems like it dies to everything Tier 1; infect, tron, burn, etc.

I need a way to deal with Tron. Gifts in the side is a bad idea because it dies to the same graveyard hate as the thopter combo; explore new ideas.

Well just as soon as I figure out what the deck needs one card is unban; Sword of the Meek. I played the last evening without Thopter combo in the deck last night and went 3-1. Tron is a really rough match up. I will need to take that into consideration when building the updated Tezzeret/Thopter deck.

I would run Mox Opal instead of Everflowing Chalice. Have you considered dropping the curve to more of an affinity shell? Memnite is another zero drop you should consider running.

Consistency is on point! Of course it will all need to be changed for Friday onward with Sword of the Meek being taken off the band list. I played last night and ended up going 4-0.

Match-01: Mardu Control (2-0)
G1: My opponent had a lot of dead cards in his hand with no creatures to target. By the time I had an animated Darksteel Citadel he had already discarded or used 3x Path to Exile on my Tidehollow Sculler in order to get cards back into his hand.
G2: I locked my opponent out with Ensnaring Bridge and Leyline of Sanctity on the field. Ended up using Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas ultimate three times in order to kill my opponent who was regaining lift with lightning helix; targeting Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas or Liliana of the Veil.

Match-02: GW Hatebears (2-0)
G1: I drew a lot of targeted removal into Engineered Explosives. Finished him with an animated 5/5 Torpor Orb.
G2: I was able to keep creatures off the board by using Engineered Explosives, Supreme Verdict, and Drown in Sorrow.

Match-03: Abzan CoCo Combo (2-1)
G1: Having played this deck myself for roughly 9 months I knew the decks weaknesses. I targeted the combo pieces and used Ensnaring Bridge to prevent combat. Lingering Souls for the win.
G2: I couldn't draw any board wipes. Lost turn 4; he had a "nut-draw."
G3: Grafdigger's Cage turn one; turning off Collected Company and Chord of Calling. Ensnaring Bridge on turn three. Turned off combat by discarding on turn four through Liliana of the Veil. Locked him out with Chalice of the Void for one and Chalice of the Void for two on turn six.

Match-04: Fish (2-1)
G1: Serum Visions is to thank for this win. I was able to dig for targeted removal and board wipes for the win.
G2: Seas Claim on one. Spreading Seas on two. Seas Claim and Spreading Seas on three. Yea I wasn't doing anything.
G3: Pithing Needle on one for Aether Vial. Drew enough targeted removal to get me to turn 4 where I Chalice of the Void for two. Finished him by swinging with an activated and animated 5/5 Inkmoth Nexus; two turn clock.

NOTES:
1. Serum Visions was definitely what this deck needed.
2. Tasigur, the Golden Fang is a good finisher but having a searchable finisher with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas would be better; maybe Myr Battlesphere.
3. Tidehollow Sculler was utilized more efficiently; I understand how to use him now.
4. I need to run 1x Ashiok, Nightmare Reaver in the side for long grindy games.
5. I will be experimenting with the list on how best to incorporate Sword of the Meek, Thopter Foundry, and Time Sieve; I think the count will be 2/2/1. I think Tidehollow Sculler will be the card to cut for this combo.

I'm building a similar deck and was working on it prior to the unbanning today. Consider including Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas.

I think dropping Creeping Tar Pit for another land is a better idea. Enter the battlefield tapped is problematic in most cases.

Consistency isn't quite there yet. Played last night going 1-2, drop.

Match-01: Mardu Control
G1: Had a decent opening hand. Got value cards taken by Inquisition of Kozilek and Thoughtseize. Drawing lands for the first four turns cost me the game.
G2: Was able to get Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas on the battlefield; with a giant target on his head. Got him to 4 life before losing.

Match-02: Dimir Mill
G1: Tidehollow Sculler stripped his hand of value cards and took the win with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas making 5/5's for the beat down.
G2: Leyline of Sanctity turn zero; the end.

Match-03: Fish
G1: Terrible draws. Was unable to keep fish at bay. However, I didn't reveal too much.
G2: Great targeted removal, and board wipes. Pithing needle turn one for aether vial felt real good. Took the win with lingering souls and ensnaring bridge
G3: Opponent new the deck I was playing. Opponent boarded in 11 cards against me. Was able to keep all threats off the board.

NOTES:
1. I think Serum Visions should be experimented with in order to increase consistency.
2. I need to find better mana rocks; open to thoughts and opinions.
3. Lingering souls is a power house! Considering going up to 4 copies; yes, it's that good.

I am considering Norn's Annex in the main. I am not a huge fan of the Lotus Blooms in the main. Thoughts?
