The other two already mentioned valid points, to add on to that... Cards like Burgeoning and Deflecting Swat are not cards I would put in a deck that shouldn't get too strong.

Here is a simple link anybody can use http://manabasecrafter.com/ basically shows all mana base one could use on any specific commander.

Just found this thread, not sure if it is common knowledge in this community or not, as i haven't used manabasecrafter before, but it was shut down.

Which brew are you referring to?
