I like Red And green because they have a lot of trample and haste. I figure that until I have a better grip on different strategies, playing aggressively would probably be my best best. I'm also using what I have for cards. I started with the torment and agonize deck I think it's from sorin vs tibalt duel deck set. I wanted to make a custom deck rather than use a store bought one and me and my son split up the cards we had. So long story short I made a red green and he made a white black. I figure I'd run with it for now until we got some more cards. I have been obtaining more cards, being in the army a lot of my soldiers play and once I told them I started they been throwing cards at me left and right. Anyway I appreciate the advice. I think my deck has too many high priced creatures in it now

Thanks for the advice. I just started playing but I don't want to just buy a pre made deck so ive been experimenting with putting my own together. I like the red green combination so far and think I will keep tweaking the deck I made until its more playable. A lot of the cards I'm using require a lot of mana and I'm having trouble getting em on the board early. I'm still a little confused about what makes cards legal or not. Do most players make decks out of cards from a certain year or set?

Deck Reviews / Need a little help

My son just got me into mtg. Never thought I'd like this game, but I'm hooked. I just put my first deck together. It's a red/green.  I would appreciate it if I could get some feedback. I did a fair amount of research and I think it's an alright deck given what cards I had to build it. My boy wants me to go to some tournaments with him and I want to make sure that I have a deck that can least hold its own so I don't get completely slaughtered. Ay feedback would be awesome. Do I need to paste the URL to the link or can others look at my deck without it. I just started using this sight this morning.

My kid just got me into mtg a week ago. I never thought I'd like a game like this but ever since he got me into it I've been hooked. I ended up gettin with some of the other soldiers in my platoon who also play and got myself some cards.  Anyway I've doing some research and ended up putting a red/green "aggro deck I believe" deck together. I would like have some experienced players look it over and give me some input. My son wants me to go to some tournaments with him and I would like a deck that's at least competitive. I'm not sure if I have to copy URL for my deck for someone to look at. I just started to use this sight this morning. I would definitely appreciate some assistance

My son just got me into Mtg like a week ago. Ever since he did I've been hooked. I've been doing a good amount of research and got some cards together. This is my first attempt to put a deck together and I think it's decent but I would like some input from so me experienced players.
