Deckstats Feedback / Size selection for Visual Spoiler

Hey,

just wondering if there already is an option to resize the visual spoiler cards? I'd usually would like them to be smaller but that is of course highly subjective.

If there is no such feature yet, maybe you could consider adding some sort of size selection to the visual spoiler section?

Regarding your first point - you can already do that. When you select Display -> Group cards by -> X (in the top right, directly above your deck) it will not only group the cards in your deck but also apply the grouping to the mana curve plot.

Hi!

I am super excited about the new visual deck editor, it's super helpful! However, I actually tend to start with only the table view for initial building and when it comes to cutting I change to the visual version. It also takes a rather long time when I paste full EDH decklists into the editor if it is in visual mode. So my request would be to add a default view option to the account settings (or where ever it might fit best) so that I can change the default view to "table".

It would be cool to have the card database not be affected by this or have a separate setting, because I love to see the cards in the database all the time!

I second that. The problem with sorting is that you can never find the perfect order. Sometimes people would like to first see all cards that have at least red in them and then the rest.

That said, the most common sorting would probably what you suggested.

Hi, I'm really liking the Tokens feature deckstats provides but I wondered if it is possible to automate the process like seen on tappedout (on the right panel) or this tool on MTG.onl. I know that scryfall has the token data for every card on the website and they should also have them in their API, so maybe that's a possible way to go. An example ony scryfall would be Gideon, Ally of Zendikar.

Maybe it's too much to ask but mybe you can make it work. Thanks a lot

If you sort by color, you will e.g. find Boros Signet in the multicolor section instead of colorless. Skyshroud Elf is also in the multicolor section but should be green. So the sorting is correct in terms of color identity but not color of the card.

The comprehensive rules say about color (excerpt):
202.2. An object is the color or colors of the mana symbols in its mana cost, regardless of the color of its frame.
202.2b Objects with no colored mana symbols in their mana costs are colorless.

Whereas color identity:
903.4. The Commander variant uses color identity to determine what cards can be in a deck with a certain commander. The color identity of a card is the color or colors of any mana symbols in that card’s mana cost or rules text, plus any colors defined by its characteristic-defining abilities (see rule 604.3) or color indicator (see rule 204).

Yeah the color sorting is going by color ID instead of actual color of the card. For me it was especially annoying when entering my collection. I sorted all cards by color and wanted to filter the card database by color. Since it filters by color ID instead, it was missing quite a few and I eventually gave up on the whole color filtering idea. Would be cool to add a checkbox to the color filter that switches between ID and actual color.

When you physically remove a card from a deck, you can just do the same in the deckstats deck. Your collection will still have the card in it but now it is freed up. When you now build your new deck with - say - all cards new except for this one card you pulled from your other deck, you just finish it and then add the cards to your collection. On the page that pops up you can now remove the one card that is already in the collection by hand.

As far as I know there is no simpler solution. There is a button to only add cards that are not in your collection but I believe this does not know about your other "active" decks. Maybe this is a feature that one could add to the website.

Hi, while entering my collection here I noticed that the sets page has no option to hide the oracle text. I'd really like to have that option in order to make it more compact while entering whole sets. It'd also be easier to read imho.

Hi, while entering my collection I missed the feature to search for cards in a non-English language in the collection manager. I have a considerable amount of German cards that I don't know the English name of so I always had to go by collector number or look up the name on scryfall.

Would be cool if you could maybe add other languages in the manager and maybe make them selectable by a dropdown or checkbox menu. Thanks

I have recently entered my collection here and have to say - I like the collection manager a lot!

While entering my cards I could have really used a way of filtering for a set of rarities. My collection is split into C+UC and R+M rarity, so I'd like to select multiple rarities in the filter.

It's just a quality of life thing but maybe you can implement it  Thanks!

I guess Storm Herd is the better choice, you are right. It can finish cames on its own, whereas Colossus is merely a regular thread but unable to win on its own. I do not have a copy of Storm Herd available right now but maybe I can trade for it and put it in. Thanks for the nice suggestion!
