another option instead of dolmen gate is first or double strike. in this case, you would deal your 1 damage to the creature before it did damage to your creature. with double strike, youd also be sending more damage to the player than just trample would. of course youd have to change the mana base a little for this to work. if you want a pure green sliver deck, i think you nailed it

I'd replace tainted remedy with false cure. i only play casually, so i don't know if it'd be legal in tournament, but i think its a good alternative. of course its not an enchantment, so it wouldn't be permanently in effect. Or maybe have false cure in addition to tainted remedy. ideal combo for false cure: tainted remedy+ congregate+ False cure
