Deckstats Feedback / Re: How to search for activated abilities?
« em: Fevereiro 16, 2024, 04:35:45 pm »
You can add power<=2 to your query. If you have a card in mind that you think should be in your results that isn't showing up then you can post your query and expected result to try and get some help.

However, since we've moved past providing feedback to deckstats, I would suggest moving to Magic General if you need more help refining a Scryfall query.

I'm not sure about the deckstats search, but scryfall's page for Zirda has two related searches which can help isolate on activated abilities. Training Grounds also has some filters linked on it's page.

https://scryfall.com/card/iko/233/zirda-the-dawnwaker
https://scryfall.com/card/mat/9/training-grounds

You should be able to tailor those with the format and other restrictions you're looking for and get what you need.

Due to how keywords and reminder text work in oracle, it's unfortunately not enough to just search for [fo:":"]. But the list provided looked comprehensive at first glance.

Deckstats Feedback / Re: Secret Lair reprints - how to log on deckstats?
« em: Novembro 22, 2023, 12:19:14 pm »
Typically with the Secret Lair decks they print a few cards in the Secret Lair "style." Those will be listed as part of the SLD set with SLD collector numbers. The other reprints which use a previous printing and have the Planeswalker symbol in the bottom left will be in their own set code (according to scryfall's organization system). So for the "Angels: They're Just Like Us but Cooler and with Wings" cards they will have the set code PAGL.

Deckstats Feedback / Re: Card Database

Looking at the SLD set list and noticed that the baseball secret lair cards aren't listed (SLD#1453-1457) and don't appear to be in the database.

Example: https://cards.deckstats.net/magiccard.php?utf8=1&lng=en&card=Ajani%20Goldmane

The collection percentage is always calculated based on the game type set for that collection. If you set the collection to be paper/arena only, the percentages should be correct.

I appreciate this can be a bit confusing though! We will have a think if we can improve this.

I see that setting now. I had changed it in account settings, but not the collection settings.

Works as advertised!

Super welcome change, thank you!

I did notice that on the Sets page, when toggling between game types it will change the card count but the collection percentage appears to still be using combined count of digital-unique and paper cards as the denominator. The tooltip reflects that as well.

Deckstats Feedback / Set Type Filter Issue

Innistrad: Crimson Vow Promos (PVOW) set is showing up when filtering for Expansion sets and not when filtering for promo sets.

Deckstats Feedback / Database issues - Alchemy Cards/Sets
« em: Dezembro 18, 2022, 09:20:12 pm »
When looking at sets and filtering to "Expansion" there is set entry for "Alchemy: Innistrad" however none of the other Alchemy sets appear in the filtered list, I believe that the Alchemy sets shouldn't show up as expansion sets.

"Alchemy: The Brother's War" doesn't have a set symbol
"Alchemy: Dominara" doesn't have a set symbol
"Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate" doesn't have a set symbol
"Alchemy: Innistrad" doesn't have a set symbol

Assuming you try to match the database with Scryfall:
The set code for "Alchemy: Innistrad" is "A22" but using scryfall's nomenclature it would be "YMID"
The set code for "Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate" would be "HBG"

Alchemy modified cards are counting against the collection percentage. Is there a way to remove those cards from the calculation?

Background: Currently Mana Source Distribution does not include information from mana sources other than Lands. It also has an option to exclude/include colorless mana.

My recommendations are to change the default behavior so that colorless mana sources are shown by default and to add a toggled option which would be to include/exclude other card types that are permanent mana sources such as mana rocks and dorks but should always exclude one shot instant/sorcery effects such as the Rituals.

Disccusion topics:
1. Should Colorless Mana be included the same as colored mana sources or be a separate option?
2. Should it be able to include non-land mana sources? If so, should it exclude one-shot effects of instants/sorceries?
