I did put some thought into that, but I figured that would make it too similar to SaffronOlive’s pre-Amonkhet build so I decided I’d just try and build it to force this combo through with library manipulation and what will become a control shell once I’ve got a little more free time to streamline it. You’re right, though, that they would fit nicely into this deck’s plan  :)

This was just a first draft, but 4 Flong and 2 Onward is definitely in line with the little playtesting I’ve done this far. I also am running setter hub in my physical version of the deck, I just don’t really do mana based on here cuz I’m not used to people looking XP

Also, re: the sideboard, Padeem definitely seems like a good choice. I was also thinking about some spell pierces and jace’s defeats to fight through negate
