I've tried Duress in for Tidehollow Sculler.  I like the body that Tidehollow Sculler provides, and if the card I take is really a problem, I can Path to Exile my own Tidehollow Sculler with ETB trigger on stack, get a land, and exile their card (LTB will trigger first then).

I want to get two Tribute to Hunger into the side board.  I also want to try Stain the Mind.  Tokens and Convoke spells seem like a logical choice.  Stain the Mind is a great catchall.  With Tidehollow Sculler or a Vampire token, it can essentially be cast for free.
