Deckstats Feedback / Try performing a Deck Search using Obelisk Spider
« on: April 08, 2018, 10:08:26 pm »
It is rather odd. I know there are decks in your database using Obelisk Spider. The search function however, doesn't want to cooperate.

Slips through your Fingers

Pitiless Plunderer and March of Madness + a treasure = infinite loop of 0/0 Treasures being created and dying.
Blood Artist and Zulaport Cutthroat turns those dying creatures into a dead opponent.

This is a first approach, with sufficient tuning to follow.

Manic Sanity (HOU)

Coordinate Manic Scribe and Fraying Sanity. The deck is about confronting the threats if able, feeding Manic Scribe with the sacrificial pieces, with the end result of milling the opponent. Will it do well? Likely not. But It's funny.

Indestructible creatures + Zada + Arcbound = death.

Alternative: Mardu Burn.

WBG Battlefront Rager - Abzan BFZ

Abzan Warriors + Blood-Chin Rager + Battlefront Krushok + Counters = unblockable.

Deck is very much a work in progress: bulked it with standard legal warriors, now it is time to trim the fat.

Deckstats Feedback / Recent Comment Bot Adjustment?
« on: September 07, 2015, 05:51:31 am »
Noticed an interesting change in the workings of the thread started by Comment Bot and associated with decks. Was a recent adjustment made that associates the thread that can be posted via the deck save action with the thread started by Comment Bot when you save it?

Find it interesting, and curious if it is a new thing or I've just been missing it.

Narset's Tutelage

Draw cards, mill the opponent with Sphinx's Tutelage, attempt to control the board.

Admittedly, I should probably pull Talent of the Telepath for counter/control, but I just can't wait to see it in play.

I saw a thing, and a three card combo is much better than the 4 card option I was considering.

GWu Turns (Origins)

Green white counter aggro, with a sage of hours infinite turn shocker.

Has the skeleton of another deck:

Logical Charge GWr (Theros)

The aim is a beat down deck, centered on Iroas, God of Victory and Battlefront Krushok, spiced with +1/+1 counters to make everything unblockable. In explanation, because it has confused several opponent:
Can't be blocked by more than one Creature && Can't be blocked except by two or more Creatures = Can't be blocked.

Selesnya with a manageable splash of red.

Results of Fate Reforged Game Day: Since the previous revision, improved the mana base with a stronger focus on Selesnya, easing red.

Entered the Top Eight as the number one seed after the Swiss rounds within my local meta. Outpaced Abzan Midrange and a Jund Dragon build, and mowed a Izzet Control Burn. Through Genesis Hydra, Ajani, Mentor of Heroes, or just a hard cast, Iroas, God of Victory confused opponents. There was a significant amount of shock when it paired with Battlefront Krushok, receiving several variants of "didn't notice that could be done."

Made it through the first elimination round against an Abzan Midrange on the backs of two Fleecemane Lion with a top deck into Ordeal of Heliod, but got ground out by a separate Abzan Midrange in the second. Considering overall win/loss, and that of my opponents, I finished third for the day.

Logical Charge (Theros)

The aim is a beat down deck, centered on Iroas, God of Victory and Battlefront Krushok, spiced with +1/+1 counters to make everything unblockable.

This variant pushed towards a green devotion, with splashes of red and white, heavier on the white. As it stands, Iroas, God of Victory may get pushed out for strait Selesnya.

Going to continue the balancing act, stepping away from the Green devotion for another build.
