The most OP Aggro Lifegain deck?

Just know that you'll be floating between 60 and 80 health, most of the time.

Lifegain has always been my favourite mechanic, but this deck is something else.

Sorin is a complete powerhouse: giving your own pridemates lifelink is huge since now if they're 8/8s and they get chump-blocked by a 1/1, it's going to gain you 8 life. same is true for bloodthirsty aerialist - which also has built in evasion.
Also has graveyard recursion for cards like Angel of Vitality (which I think is the true powerhouse of the deck).

Ajani is also fantastic, as in the early game ii can be a couple pridemates and some lifegain, while in the mid to late game his "0" ability (exiling all of your opponent's creatures and artifacts along with Ajani himself) is going to be really, REALLY easy to accomplish (given that you have to be at 40 life - at least).

I've been having a blast, try the deck out and let me know what you guys think by commenting!!

UW AGGRO FLICKER !! NEW from Modern Horizons!!

With this deck I aimed to get out of the stereotype of UW control-y type decks.

I wanted to use the new card Soulherder purely because it is my favourite art from the set and he's there more for the flicker ability than as a beater.

Ephemerate seems pretty busted for a one-mana instant with rebound that can flicker any creature you control, it's a double cloudshift.

Blade splicer is great, giving you a 3/3 first striker every time she ETBs.

Wall of omens for digging, doesn't die to a lightning bolt.

Epochrasite is a 4/4 for 2 mana, so pretty aggro, also comes back from the graveyard unless exiled.

Reflector Mage becomes the bounce master with every ETB you can get out of him.

Inquisitor Exarch can become a pretty scary clock when combined with cards like Soulherder and Ephemerate.

Cathedral Sanctifier is Lifegain.

I couldn't make a flicker deck without including Flickerwisp. He's gotta be in there.

On a final note, please let me know what you think of my list. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

PS: How about Thragtusk though.

EDIT: Added 1x Reflector Mage for creature heavy matchups.
Added 4x Serum Visions for digging.

The blasting station just fits in perfectly. Thanks for your suggestion! And I was thinking of adding a tutor for the enchantment, but I don't want to splash into other colours too much.

I would definitely cut the 6-drop captain of the watch and run a 4x of Champion of the parish, 4x Thalia's lieutenant and 4x Thalia, Guardian of Thraben, running only a 3x or maybe even a 2x Thalia,  Heretic cathar. Could also run Doom Traveler for value and Mentor of the meek for card draw, Elite Vanguard is also good.
Kytheon can be a 3x or 4x.
Militia Bugler is also good, in terms of card selection.
4x Aether Vial is very good, Imo.
Cut the dawn of hope, 2x eerie interlude and the on serra's wings, add 4x Honor of the pure.

In the man abase, maybe adde a couple Horizon Canopy for more card draw and Cavern of souls for control matchups.

Careful with the budget tho!!!
Pretty good work for a first brew I think!

Maybe remove a couple cloud shifts for removal cards. And the green splash would be good for thrsgtusk.. needs work

Of course you can improve the manabase, of course you can play more efficient counter spell in your own sideboard.

Although, if you are looking to getting into modern...
this actually does kick a bit of ass at FNM.
