I feel like the Reservoir doesn't fit in the Cheerios theme. Too much to cast, and I can't imagine you'll live long enough to pull of the life gain kill, plus if you do, you're a single counter spell away from losing. However, Paradoxical Outcome seems pretty great in this deck, but even that is pretty high in cmc. Maybe like a 1 of and then a couple Hurkyl's. Just my thoughts.

Thanks! It's still a work in progress, but I've been pretty happy with the results. Plays pretty consistently and catches a lot of players off guard. I actually just dropped a Ghost Quarter for a Breeding Pool to help smooth the green mana base.

You really should be running Glimpse the Unthinkable, Breaking, Snapcaster Mage (if you can afford them), Surgical Extraction/Extirpate and some form of counter magic. Just my two cents.

Shouldn't need that Toll Collector in this deck, as Puresteel allows free equipping to any critter with the Metalcraft ability.

While I like the idea behind this deck, it has no answers for the new standard decks in the meta. Madness/Vampires, Humans or any aggro beats this deck handily.

I think there's just too much you're trying to do with this deck. I'd suggest focusing on getting more damage for less mana cost. You can't go wrong with Lightning Bolt, Lava Spike, and Rift Bolt.

Not bad for budget, but I would take out 3-all Shard Volley and the Zurgo Bellstriker. I'd replace the Bellstriker with 2-4 Hellspark Elemental, Shard Volleys with Lightning Strike (for budget mindedness only) and for draw I might throw in 1-2 Dangerous Wager.

I appreciate the input. This deck is still being playtested and I've already been shifting stuff around. Haunting Echoes, Sphinx Tutelage and Hedron Crab didn't make the cut, although Echoes runs in the SB. I've been seriously considering Ghost Quarter recently since I'm seeming a lot more Eldrazi/Tron(after Twin ban) in my meta. I'll probably end up trying to run Ghost Quarters while limiting my high curved spells(Traumatize/Jace). My goal is to have a somewhat competitive/fast aggressive mill deck. Any thoughts on more discard/disruption and less counter?

Thanks! I actually SB'd 3 out of the MD because I like the faster play, but they certainly hold down the board against aggro. Feel free(anyone) to offer input. I'm still playing with this deck to speed it up a turn or two.

Thanks for the input. I'm playing this fairly casually, but it's been a blast to play in my meta. I'm going to try your suggestion and see how that plays. I was thinking Manamorphose instead of the Burning Tree Emissary, but I'll try both and see.
