The Infinite Turn Machine

A deck built to use Magistrate's Scepter with charge counter generators to take infinite turns.

Feedback is welcome.

I do see the appeal of Korozda Gorgon, but I think Power Conduit, Cytoplast Root-Kin, and Ion Storm are probably enough counter removal.

A Real Rogue Deck

People use the term "rogue deck" pretty liberally. But this is a real Rogue deck. It's designed to make use of the Prowl mechanic from Morningtide.

Feedback would be appreciated.

Undying Army

A deck built around the Undying mechanic. Feedback would be more than welcome.

Anvil of Bogardan and Spiteful Visions would seem fitting.

I'm not so sure about Skeleton Key; your deck lacks small cheap creatures to equip it to.

The problem with letting your opponent draw tons of cards is that they can use them to kill you. I'm a bit concerned about your deck's defenses; your only good answer to aggro is Propaganda and you seem to have nothing against combo.

65 cards is too many. To get down to 60, I suggest dropping a Forest and the Forced Adaptations. Auras are generally removal-bait, and you don't have any hexproof creatures to put them on.

High praise indeed.

I never really thought about going beyond monored for the cards I actually intend to cast. Do you have any specific spells in mind?

Thanks.

Psychic Strike sounds like a decent idea. Dunno about Psychic Spiral, though; I'm not planning to win by milling.

I hear you. That stuff does have value. But is it the best thing you could be doing with that card slot?

Like I said, focusing on a clear plan is important. And while Guttersnipe (for example) can pick up a few points of damage here and there, your plan is not to win that way.

As for your hand simulator problems, I think more discard would be a good idea. According to the probability tool, you've got roughly a 12% chance of Daretti and a 40% chance of Faithless Looting in your opening hand. That's not enough to rely on.

Interesting idea.

I'd rather be playing a creature on turn 3, but this deck is heavily reliant on Patron Wizard and Master of the Waves so a tutor would be good. And sometimes the deck wants to leave mana up for Voidmage Prodigy and not use it, so the instant speed is good.

But a 1/2 for 2 is pretty lame, and I don't ever expect to bounce a Sliver with it. So I'm torn.

Demonic Donation

There are some cards that are great to have right away, but kind of a drag in the long term. With this deck, you get the benefits and your opponent pays the costs.

Likes and comments are obviously welcome.

Wizard Tempo

Play Wizards. Use Wizards to counter spells and/or to draw cards. Win by attacking with Wizards or by playing Master of Waves.

Comments and likes would of course be appreciated.

Thread's here.

I'm reasonably happy with the main deck, but I don't really know where to start on the sideboard. My feeling is that I might need more interaction; as-is, the deck has a hard time interfering with the opponent's game plan.

Thats a really good deck list, gonna have to pick up my deck building skills some how lol.

Love the way you have gotten around the mana colour of the Inkwell Leviathan and Sphinx Of The Steel Wind, i didnt even think to look that way in coloured artifacts.

Definatly a stronger build then mine and a lot more clear in concept. Will have to try clear my concept up a bit i think.

Thanks.

And I think you're right to identify your problem as a lack of clarity. Hammer of Purphoros, Flayer of the Hatebound, and Guttersnipe don't really seem to fit with your central plan. And while Myr Retriever and Junk Diver aren't bad, they can mess with your plan of keeping expensive artifacts in the graveyard.

From the looks of things, you're aiming at a grindier and more controlling deck than mine. I try to get an Inkwell Leviathan out on turn 2-3, you try to juggle a Scuttling Doom Engine between the graveyard and the battlefield to kill your opponent over time.

Anger is a clever choice. Maybe I should cut a Shrapnel Blast and include one.

I dunno about Zulaport Cutthroat and Lambholt Pacifist.

If you're going the Vampire route, Asylum Visitor and Falkenrath Gorger seem like better bets.
