Deckstats Feedback / Re: Dragon shield app collection import
« on: February 18, 2023, 02:25:45 pm »
Hi - this CSV actually looks fine to me! When I try to import it, I only get a few warnings but most of the cards seem to go through fine. Did you make sure to select semicolon as your as your separator character when you import it?

The only issue I can see is that the value "Normal" in the "is_foil" column is being interpreted as foil. I will look into fixing this automatically, but for now you can just search and replace "Normal;" with ";" in a text editor to fix this.

If you could send me an original Dragonshield CSV I could also look into fixing the column names automatically in the future!

It seems to be coming up for me? Did you maybe have a filter enabled when you were searching for it? It's not legal in Modern or Standard for example.

This should now be fixed, thanks for pointing it out! We hadn't added [ONC] Phyrexia: All Will Be One Commander to our our legality checker yet, so it didn't recognize cards that were added in that set as Commander legal. No salty mods or admins involved :)

I am excited to announce that we have just released a new version of our card database, which will make it a lot easier to find and import cards!

Until now, we only supported official 'oracle names' for cards. This meant that card names in other languages, such as [[Sonnenring]] or [[疾行靴]], or special card names such as [[Chief Jim Hopper]] would not be recognized. Instead, you had to write [[Sol Ring]] or [[Sophina, Spearsage Deserter]].

With this update, our card database has now been extended to understand all of these names.

Here is how it works:

Non-english card names can now be detected by our autocorrect algorithm and will be converted to the English oracle name. When importing them into a collection, their language will also be set accordingly. To avoid confusion, card names will always be displayed in English when viewing a deck or a collection, even if they were originally written in another language.

Special card names (aka flavor names) will be recognized directly, even when autocorrect is off. They can also be used when searching our card database. If you add a card to your deck or your collection using its special name, it will also be displayed with that name.

As part of this update we have also added autocorrect functionality to our collection import tool. When an unknown card name is detected during an import, you will be given the option to turn on autocorrect and try again.

As usual, please let me know here or via Twitter or Discord if you have any thoughts about this or notice any problems!

Deckstats Feedback / Re: Potential Hack Detected

Thank you for letting us know about this! We haven’t seen any evidence of a site wide issue so far, but we will investigate further just to be sure. Have you checked your own device for malware already? What were you doing on deckstats when these messages popped up?

A problem like this can also sometimes be caused by malicious ads. Could you please click the “report ad” button and write a short message in the box? That may allow us to figure out if an ad may have caused this.

Were those cards previously listed under the other names? We have always been using the 'official' name for cards that have an alternative name, so I would be surprised if this changed recently.

If you put your commander in the sideboard it should work!

Trying to update my collection, but not able to find the 5 SLD cards in the "Heads I Win, Tails You Lose" commander deck. Are the missing, or am I doing something wrong with my search?

Thank you for reporting this. This is an issue with the Scryfall card data which I have now reported to them. Hopefully this will get fixed soon.

When looking at sets and filtering to "Expansion" there is set entry for "Alchemy: Innistrad" however none of the other Alchemy sets appear in the filtered list, I believe that the Alchemy sets shouldn't show up as expansion sets.
Innistrad: Crimson Vow Promos (PVOW) set is showing up when filtering for Expansion sets and not when filtering for promo sets.
These should be resolved in the next 24h, thank you.

I have just added this: https://deckstats.net/forum/index.php/topic,5676.msg212658.html#msg212658

Thank you for the suggestion/reminder!

I'm sorry for the very delayed response to this, I'm not quite sure how I missed this! I have now added the collector number as a separate column, which means you can also use it for sorting: https://deckstats.net/forum/index.php/topic,5676.msg212658.html#msg212658

About Deckstats / Re: Latest deckstats.net updates
« on: December 28, 2022, 05:43:43 pm »
Another two small updates - this time some UI improvements in our collection manager:

You can now jump to the first/last page instead of having to click through your collection page by page. These buttons are also available when viewing sets.

When viewing a collection, you can now display the collector number as a separate column and use it for sorting.

Thank you for pointing this out. I believe this has been fixed in the meantime but if you're still seeing an incorrect color identity somewhere please let me know.

Deckstats Feedback / Re: archivo .cvs card binder
« on: December 28, 2022, 12:50:29 pm »
Hi, if I am understanding correctly you have downloaded a CSV export from the Card Binder app and would now like to import it into Deckstats. I would be happy to add support for this but I will need an example to work with.

Could you please provide a copy of your CSV so I can have a look at it?

Deckstats Feedback / Re: Idea: Mark Cards as "Used by" in Collections
« on: December 28, 2022, 12:47:19 pm »
Maybe I'm misunderstanding something but this should already be possible! If you set a deck to "active" in the deck settings the cards in it will automatically be deducted from your collection counts. It doesn't change the numbers on the "View Collection" page, but it will be considered in the collection numbers when you are in the Deckbuilder or viewing a deck.
