If it's "nothing special", then why did you upload it Seven times?  Did you not know there's an EDIT function in the top right?  Also, it's not mono blue because Dread is black.

This looks pretty okay to me.  The Blue Honden is missing, but the Deck is full.  As far as cards to add, maybe Lithoform Engine to double your abilities, or extra copies of Mirror Box so you'll draw them more often than your duplicate Shrines, or Historic support cards like Jhoira's Familiar or the Weatherlight, because you have so many Legends.  Also, the manabase is slow, but this is a Casual Deck, and you're probably on a budget.

Niv is probably fine...I mean, you WILL be casting SOME spells.

Cards exist that explicitly cast the copies they make, if you want to go that route.

Well i dont have any of the lessons and didnt even know they exist.
Oh...well, you do NOW.  They're a Godsend (not that one, LOL) for colorless Decks IMO.

TBF, you're not running any of the colorless Lessons from Strixhaven; is there a good reason not to?  I usually have Environmental Sciences at least.

I just discovered this and it seems like a brilliant idea.  I wish I could think of a few cards to add for improved odds and/or variety.

I love this idea, and in fact I have both a Ravager Bolas Deck and a Gyruda Companion Deck.  Moving Gyruda to the Sideboard will both legalize your Deck and mark them as your Companion automatically.

This is most definitely a first draft :). Our meta is non-combo, and we want to improve the diversity of the played decks or cards. Mainly because most staples are auto includes in their respective colors.

As for non-combo broken stuff, what do you have in mind?

Well, it's really mostly a matter of banning a lot of cards but without banning the even better versions, unless I've misunderstood and this stacks with the existing banlist (which wouldn't explain overlap like Karakas, Panoptic Mirror and Sundering Titan).  Just for a few examples in no particular order: Worldfire but not Sway of the Stars, Necropotence but not Yawgmoth's Bargain, Notion Thief but not Hullbreacher, Jeweled Lotus but not Black Lotus, and Intuition but not Gifts Ungiven.  There are many, many more.

ETA: I'd link my own banlist for reference, but I'm in the middle of a major overhaul that I only just yesterday realized was necessary.

I love Banlists, and in fact I've made a few of my own.  I certainly hope this is a very early draft.  I could build an entire Deck out of just the broken stuff you DIDN'T ban, but I'm not really the type to do that.

Commander Deck Reviews / Re: Could they BE more super?
« on: February 14, 2022, 08:28:54 am »
I apologize in advance for the long post as I have several ideas.

Heart of Kiran and Hissing Quagmire seem pretty bad when you can just turn Land into Creatures with almost every Nissa, while Buried Ruin and Ugin, the Ineffable are better in Artifact-heavy Decks.  I also wouldn't use Tainted Wood, especially with your relatively low volume of Swamps (although Woodland Chasm would add one to the quantity), but your mileage may vary.
The thought behind those creatures are simply to protect the planeswalkers. They produce a lot of different token creatures, but not really with reach or flying. The Thornweald Archer and the Wildborn Preserver are included as low CMC aerial blockers, mainly. Will-o-the Wisp might be a better solution. Ideally I'd have more creatures with vigilance and reach, like the Elder Gargaroth, to be able to attack and still be able to block, but I guess that'd mean higher CMC creatures.
Oh, so Heart and Quagmire are low-mana-value blockers; okay, that makes some sense.  With that said, there are four Planeswalkers that can help with Reach specifically (Lolth, Spider Queen, Vivien, Champion of the Wilds, Vivien, Monsters' Advocate and Wrenn and Seven), but you're only running one of them.  The Viviens also support Vigilance, and Champion of the Wilds can even grant those abilities to ANY Creature, including the Tokens that your other Walkers make.  Ob Nixilis of the Black Oath can make beefy Fliers, so that's a valid consideration as well.

I recommend Necroblossom Snarl since you'll have a Forest or Swamp in hand at least some of the time, and you can up the odds (for it as well as Woodland Cemetery and the aforementioned Tainted Wood) with Woodland Chasm, which you can get onto the battlefield from Deck with cards like Farseek or Nature's Lore, which I believe have been mentioned earlier by others.  I also use Nissa of Shadowed Boughs and Nissa, Vital Force, and sometimes Oath of Nissa but that's not as good in two-color Decks.  Talisman of Resilience is Llanowar Wastes in mana rock form and has justifiably been mentioned by others in this thread; I also recommend that card, and use it myself.

Commander Discussion / Re: Land destruction lands

I hope I'm not too late to contribute, but I typically don't run these because "hurr durr, Land destruction bad" (except against broken Land like those mentioned by the OP, which my playgroup mostly don't use).

@PaulNeagle: Ehh... Field of Ruin costs mana and ramps the other opponents, but it also replaces itself while Ghost Quarter really doesn't (even in the edge case where OP would use it on oneself they're still down a Land).  It's not better, but it's also not really worse.

Without any context, my first thought would be "this is clearly a trap; only a cavalier fool would agree to it".

If it were a "grouphug" move (I'm behind), I may use it, and from an Archenemy ally I absolutely would.

They would.  State-based actions don't destroy.

Deathgreeter, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance. Tomebound Lich helps a little too, and it's tribal along with more draw.

Dreamscape Artist is another pretty good choice for ramp, turning any card you don't need or can't use into a Blue Harrow, since outright tutoring lands into play is quite rare outside of Green.
Corpse Harvester's another good choice. Especially if you pick up Island Swamps like Ice Tunnel, Fetid Pools, and Watery Grave, or a Witch's Cottage for some more recursion.
Cryptic Gateway can serve as a sort of backup Rooftop Storm.
Undead Warchief is another pseudoramp by way of just dropping the cost to cast things.

While it's not ramp, the Corpse Harvester did remind me of another good suggestion. Heirloom Blade. Lets your Decayed Zombies pull a new Zombie out of your deck.

I agree; especially Tomebound Lich, Corpse Harvester and Watery Grave are must-haves.  If Heirloom Blade gets picked, consider also Deathrender; you can stack the triggers to put the card into your hand first.

That last sentence really gets me @Valmias.  This person allegedly speaks for several people who have collective control of the Banlist.  If something should be banned, then they should ban it, ESPECIALLY if it's that ubiquitous.
