If you are really funky you could go towards something like an Abyssal-Trader build (Abyssal Persecutor + Bazaar Trader). That was one of the first modern decks I built. Very funny to play but also a little fragile as soon as trader dies.
Trader has quite some tricks up his sleeve, like he can permanently give you control over a creature you stole with Act of Treason or similar cards.

Here is my list if you are interested:

Just so you know, Chatterstorm is banned in pauper. You won't be allowed to play this deck 'officially'.

Any reason not to play Nimble Mongoose, maybe over Arboreal Grazer?

Hey y'all,

with the printing of Spirited Companion and Inspiring Overseer - and the existence of Soul of Migration - I began to think about how Undying/Flicker Drifter should be build now. I know it's an old idea but I just can't discide which cards to use.

For those who don't know the deck: main idea is to evoke Mulldrifter (or similar creatures) and Undying Evil / Undying Malice it before you have to sacrifice it and gain incredible value from that.

The cards I'm thinking about are the following:

Mulldrifter - is dead-set I would say
Soul of Migration - main finisher I guess
Walker of the Grove - another good finisher but are those big bodies worth the costs?
Wavesifter - better body for less evoking costs, but without instant value.
Spirited Companion / Inspiring Overseer - are those good enough to be targets for Undying Evil?
Manticore - more value from Spirited Companion and: flash in, block an attacker, Undying Evil => when he comes back he'll see his own damage on the blocked creature

My main questions are:
1. Which colors would you use - UB, Esper, Orzhov, or any combination with green? How about being greedy 4-colors without red?
1.5 Do you see Walker of the Grove or Wavesifter good enough to justify a green splash?
2. Undying Evil, Undying Malice, Ephemerate, Ghostly Flicker - which would you play and how many of each?
3. How about Spirited Companion? While a solid card in general, I don't think it's a good target for Undying Evil. Is it even worth using?
4. Manticore... good enough, only with doggo, or to bad of a removal?

I'm curious about your oppinion - even if you are not experienced in pauper.  ;)

Lands like Smoldering Spires or Teetering Peaks could be spice up your manabase with some combat-relevant utility.

702.37e Any time you have priority, you may turn a face-down permanent you control with a morph ability face up. This is a special action; it doesn’t use the stack (see rule 116). To do this, show all players what the permanent’s morph cost would be if it were face up, pay that cost, then turn the permanent face up. (If the permanent wouldn’t have a morph cost if it were face up, it can’t be turned face up this way.) The morph effect on it ends, and it regains its normal characteristics. Any abilities relating to the permanent entering the battlefield don’t trigger when it’s turned face up and don’t have any effect, because the permanent has already entered the battlefield.

Here’s the rule text (man that’s a pain on a smartphone).

Edit- I see Sylvester beat me to it while I was struggling on my phone.

Totally agreed. Though you make me look bad for not searching.  ::)

Welcome on deckstats.

As far as I know turning a morphed creature faceup does not count as entering the battlefield. Willbender entered the battlefield the moment you played it as morph - though it wasn't identified as wizard (since morph does not give a creature type).
Also turning a creature face up is an activated ability and not a cast.

Maybe someone can post the correct rules text, since I'm browsing via smartphone where researching is quite annoying.  ::)

Why would you want Xander to get banned? Sure he's got a bunch of feels-bad effects, but he hardly limits game progression like most of the other banned legendaries.

I talked about Xander with one of my colleagues today. We agreed that he essentially takes the fun of the game for one opponent with each of his abilities. That might sound a bit harsh but it's the reason why both of us won't build decks with him.
But I agree as well, that his abilities aren't 'extreme' enough for him to get banned.

For me, I will simply not play with or against him in the commandzone.  ;)

I need to rest my browser so I'll edit this message in a bit.

Just offtopic and out of curiousity, what do you mean by 'resting your browser'? :o
*Reset, that was a typo. Had to save the existing text somewhere.

Ooooh, resetting it. That makes a lot more sense, than 'putting it to sleep'. :D

Super.

Mutieren-Kreaturen wie Vadrok, Apex of Thunder, Bruna, the Fading Light oder
Artisan of Kozilek

______

Edit

Beispiele für Kreaturen:
Conduit of Ruin - hier nicht sicher, weil im Text nicht "Target" steht. Kann sein, das es hier dann nicht greift.
Bruna, the Fading Light
Artisan of Kozilek
Mutate-Kreaturen, die für Mutate-Kosten gespielt werden (z. B. Vadrok, Apex of Thunder)
