Tilonalli’s Summoner could be a nice elemental producer as well. Not sure what to cut for it though.

I can only suggest a few small changes. Something like Elvish Mystic to replace Druid of the Cowl. You can also add in Caustic Caterpillar, Shriekmaw, and Manglehorn for removal.

You have defender as a subtheme, so maybe add Tree of Perdition and Tree of Redemption.

Thanks for your suggestions.

Druid of the cowl has a bigger butt which is good if I turn it over with sapling. But it's 2CMC instead of 1. I see your point. That attack clause is also the reason shriekmaw isn't in the deck anymore. But the evoke part is good, so I reconsider it. manglehorn adds an static ability. I like it very much.

Both of the trees are great (especially when I find them by attacking with my commander). I must cut some cards for them indeed. It gets harder anytime I get good suggestions 😉....

1. Greatbow Doyen seems a little weak in this deck. I only counted around 3 archers, and it costs 5 mana. The mana in itself isn't really a problem, but most of the time, it will just be a 2/4 for 5 and may occasionally pump one of your other creatures for +1/+1. It's second ability won't be that impactful because the highest power on your archers is 2 (+1 from Greatbow Doyen's pump), so dealing 3 damage to an opponent (most likely only once because they have small bodies and will get blocked and killed) isn't really worth it IMO.
2. Yeah, I realized after you made the post that you were most likely there for the 2nd +1 ability, not the first. Makes sense.

Another side note about the removal: Like you said, Beast Within, Reclamation Sage, Lignify, and Nullmage Shepherd are all good removal spells, and I agree. I think, though, that Krosan Grip also is a must-include. I would even dare to say that it is even more of an auto-include than any of the other removal spells, because it completely shuts down a lot of combo decks and offers no counterplay on their part. Honestly, green doesn't have that many good removal spells, but if you can find 3 spots, here's what I would recommend:
1. Beast Within: Absolutely fantastic, kills everything you want.
2. Reclamation Sage: A bit more focused in terms of what it can remove, but it leaves a 2/1 ELF body. It's very thematic.
3. Krosan Grip: Already explained why above.
Cards to cut: Combo Attack is just worse removal than Beast Within. Hurricane, Tropical Storm, and Winter Blast are way, way too focused. Unless you have a dedicated Dragons player (or some other flying thematic player), you don't need anywhere close to that amount. I would drop at least 2 of them for the other 2 pieces of removal listed above, and maybe the third for Bane of Progress.

Hope you find this helpful!

Thanks, helpful indeed.

Greatbow Doyen is a kind of 'pet-card' of mine. It is the remnant of a GU archer deck (http://www.nedermagic.nl/deck_item_pics.asp?deckid=132267) with merfolk levitator to shoot down my opponents creatures. I admit that it's not great in this deck, but there are five other archers in the deck, and without Greatbow Doyen I would run Jagged-scar archers (it can grow fast with all the tokens), scattershot archer (great against non-buffed thopters and spirits) and lys-alana bowmaster (great pinger in an elf deck) anyway. Ezuri's archers is not that good. Silhana starfletcher is a fairly good mana-elf. But in the off chance I have both Greatbow Doyen and one of the pingers on board it delivers points of damage to the player, even if it doesn't kill all the fliers. And I have 2 tutors if I want any of them. I consider leaving out the starfletcher and Ezuri's archers, but i will keep Greatbow Doyen.

Krosan grip is very good indeed, but i don't run in to a lot of combo in my playgroup. It's a lot of creature bashing ;). But i'll try to trade for it as it is great in this deck (or other decks) anyway, there is Always an irritating enchantment or artifact to remove.

Combo attack is not good, i'm going to replace it. But the x-spells are not meant to hit fliers, but merely players (at least squall line and Hurricane are). That's why I need to have more life than my opponents to kill them with a fat Marwyn, the nurturer so i can get the x in the casting cost very high. I hope to finish as a "green burn deck".

Winter blast is meant to tap my opponents creatures more than to hit their fliers and helps get through combat damage, mostly in - hopefully -a finishing attack. I agree with tropical storm though, it could be replaced with other removal. Rampage of the clans (of Ravnica allegiance) is also a good option, i don't run al lot of enchantments and artifacts in this deck.

Hmm.. what about Pathbreaker Ibex? Its a Overwhelming Stampede as creature.

Besides that, correct me if im wrong, but it seems a little like the deck lacks removal (except flyers). If you want to stick to your tribal  Nullmage Shepherd would be a good option. Besides that, there are some evergreens in green: Beast Within, Lignify, Nature's Claim, Fade into Antiquity, Krosan Grip.

A side note: I prefere to play Primal Surge only in Decks with 99 Permanents and even then only if Im able to finish that turn. Otherwise its the perfect opportunity for your opponents to play a boardwipe.

If you're still looking for a Slot for Nissa, Aid from the Cowl would be an option, since you have to rely on your opponents for revolt triggers.

You're right, the deck lacks removal. The viridian shaman should be replaced with the somewhat more flexibel reclamation sage. Lignify is also a good addition, it shuts down commanders that with actual removal would come back from the commandzone. I like that. Beast within is good removal for a wide range of problems. Nullmage shepherd goes on my wantlist.

The pathbreaker ibex is great, but it's not an elf. There is one elemental in the deck and that is because other nissa's (that have gone to my superfriends deck) do something with elementals. It might go away now I have beast whisperer.

Thanks!

1. That Nissa is great indeed. Any idea what to cut to get Nissa, genesis mage in the deck?
2. Nissa's chosen isn't in the deck because there are so many great elves at 2 CMC that I think a 2/3 body with no upsides is not that good. The other +1 of Nissa Revane is getting a life for each elf. I need that life if i want to finish with my green burn spells, because they hurt all players, including myself.

Hmm.. first of all I would change the mana base. Basic rule for me is: only include a land that enters tapped if it has an significant effect. Most tap lands you have got doesn't have one. colorfixing in a gx deck shouldn't be the problem, even with the creature limitation. Replace them with basics or other lands that gives you an advantage. This should already speed up the deck a little.
Lands like Woodland Cemetery, Overgrown Tomb or Command Tower could come handy here.

Then i've got 2 more ideas, even if they would break your "creatures only" theme:
Sensei's Divining Top: This card would allow you to manipulate your deck, this would make it easier to make sure the top card is a creature.
Primal Surge: This card is expensive mana wise, but it would allow you to put your whole deck into play at once. You just have to make sure, that this leads into a Victory in the same Turn.

Besides that, Dosan the Falling Leaf and Prowling Serpopard would be good options to avoid counterspells against your creatures. but this is a little meta dependant.

The manabase is indeed a bit slow. I'll check what lands I have that would fit better.

Primal surge would be a card that would indeed help to get ahead of my opponents, especially in this all permanents deck. This could well become the only non-permanent card. Thanks!

The creatures you suggest are good indeed, but not that needed in my meta.

I think the recent cards Satyr Enchanter and tragic poet are good (and budget) additions to your deck. They could replace both Vows.

Oracle of Milk Days. I'm calling it that now.

I did not understand your comment, but now I see the 'autocorrected' name of Oracle of Mul Daya.

I would like it if you could also give some advice for this deck, I've visited your profile and there are good and helpful lists there. Thanks for that.

Sapling of Colfenor (Creatures only)

Get card advantage by attacking with Sapling of Colfenor. In this al creature deck, he should get a creature at least two of three times. Oracle of Mul Daya and Dryad Greenseeker help a lot when they are in play.

There is some recursion in this deck through creatures and even some mass-removal (Deathbringer regent, Hythonia the Cruel) and control with Tetzimoc, Ravenous Chupacabra. Roaring primadox is there to take the max out of creatures with ETB-abilities.

Subtheme is +1/+1 counters. I think i must at least add Courser of Kruphix and maybe Bramblewood Paragon to give a lot of creatures trample.

If anyone has suggestions for other creatures or lands be welcome to give them.

Courser of Kruphix and Tree of Redemption are already on my wantlist.

The 'sideboard' are the cards left after cutting down to 100 cards. If you think any of them should be in the deck, please add the card the card that has to be cut from the deck as well.

Nice deck! I have got some ideas for my own zada deck (not on deckstats yet), especially to take care of nasty artifacts. I play a lot of dragons. Mirrorwing dragon has a similar ability as Zada. It's good to have a backup. Upside is that targeted removal affects your opponents creatures as well.

Rile is a sorcery that lets you draw cards, Accelerate is a 2 cmc version of expedite but carddraw is worth it I think.

Thank you, didn't know that card. It would certainly be a good addition to this deck.
