I usually don't have much problem with casting things and keeping the hand low. The commander's mana ability combined with the amount of mana-elves as well, I can usually make 10+ mana a turn and clear the spells in my hand (thus why there are ways to cast off opponent's libraries).

@ryd123 The creativity is usually used on my own tokens or small creatures to further the cause.
