@HeyMagic the issue with your ban list is that its highly inconsistent.
You have banned a bunch of mana doublers for whatever reason yet missed out on Extraplanar Lens and Caged Sun as well as the half dozen or so mana doublers in black.
There are also still atleast another half dozen extra turn spells you missed, all of which do basically the exact same thing as the extra turn spells you have added.

Almost every card on your list has some degree of redundancy in the form of other cards that do similar things that you haven't added.
It wouldn't take much of a seasoned player to build a truly horrendously potent deck entirely around your rules, Im pretty sure if I removed a sol ring from one of my decks it would do precisely that. The most this ban list has done is prevent CEDH level decks from walking in due to your ban on most of the mana rocks used at that level of play.

My point being is that prohibition is stupid, if you want to stop people from ruining things then you are better off fostering an environment where people can ruin things in a fun supportive and safe way, much like drinking.

This seems like far more than just a ban on combo cards.
Its more a complete ban on any of the classic bombs as well, also anything that is remotely powerful.
You banned Wilderness Reclamation for god sakes, why?

I disagree, with 12 ramp there he should be fine on 33 lands.
The only issue is you may need to mulligan aggressively to ensure a usable hand at times.
I fine 10 ramp and 35 lands to be the goldilocks zone and this deck has a low curve.

This deck can play red btw, since Rograkh is a red creature as indicated by the red pip next to "legendary creature".

I like this deck, its quite cheap however id knock the land count back to 35 and put 5 artifact ramp cards in there, preferably 2 mana rocks.
Dimir Signet
Thought Vessel
Everflowing chalace
Prismatic lens
Arcane signet
These are some relatively inexpensive rocks that would give your deck a stronger early game.
Thran dynamo is another favourite of mine.

I thought sidisi required you to extort a creature to get the tutor effect, given this your combo won't work, right?

Yea, this deck needs some work.
The main idea was to utilize gaeas touch and soldevi sage to get a janky draw engine going. Also using groundskeeper to try and keep recurring lands.
So far its far too janky to work consistently, im very open to ideas and advice.

Please, don't take this as a bad observation, my intention is only to help.
Of coarse not, i would not have started this thread if i wasn't prepared for criticism.

I think i should have presented my deck a lot more tidy like so as to make it easier to read and understand my ideas.
I think i would agree with you in that my goblin production was a little low, just relying on the Dragon Fodder and Hordeling Outburst wasn't enough.
So i thought perhaps just a Krenko, Mob Boss would be enough to keep the goblin fuel going and perhaps to even put 10 goblins into play by turn 5.
Looking at your suggestions for other goblin spells i think Mogg War Marshal and Siege-Gang Commander might work but Goblin Assault ive always viewed as a rather awful card as it makes you loose control of your side of the board, it may cause me to loose some of the goblins i dont want to swing with and in a multiplayer game would just get me killed.

I have removed Thunderbreak Regent from the deck completely and put the 2 Gluttonous Slime into the maybe board as i can see their usefulness but they may just take up space of more useful creatures.

The other non devour non goblin creatures such as hissing iguana ive decided to keep as they could do a lot of damage and disincentivize board wipes, with snake umbra on them they would also net one hell of a card advantage.

As for my ramp ive chosen to use Ainok Guide as it gives me a land and a body to devour, as well as Whisperer of the Wilds as it can tap for 2 mana with something larger on the board.
I also have Nissa, Voice of Zendikar in there for generating some extra tokens and also taking advantage of her -2 ability to perhaps give a large numbber of tokens +1/+1 to maybe finish someone off.

Im still thinking about perhaps putting Lightning Greaves into the deck but i feel like i use that card too much.

My revised deck.

First post.

Ok so ive been brewing this up for a few weeks now, the idea behind it was that i wanted a devour deck that ran in just Gruul colors.
Its basic premise is to play a decent amount of goblins as its main fuel for devour, this synergizes with voracious dragon easily allowing it to do 10 damage by turn 4 or 5 and put a 9/9 flyer on the board.
I didn't want to just rely on voracious dragon though of coarse, so i added predator dragon which with devour 2 should be able to swing in pretty hard with haste.
I know alot of people dont much care for dragon broodmother but she is one of my personal favorites and ive had some descent success with her in the past.

Now ive done some research into how other people have built devour decks and the criticism they received, from what i gathered the big weakness of devour decks was early game board wipes, so ive tried to build some of my deck to benefit from these board wipes and even survive through them with cards like Hissing Iguanar and heroic intervention.

Some of the other synergistic combos ive added were based around snake umbra, this could be used in effect to protect larger creatures with totem armor  or to attach to either hissing iguana or spikeshot elder for some direct damage and card draw effects.

I obviously have some issues with the deck as it currently stands, firstly that i have only 1 card in my 4 slot which makes the mana curve look look a little strange.
Secondly is that this deck is sitting at 62 cards, which means i gotta remove 2 and while im pretty sure id remove the thunderbreak regent ive no clue what else to cut.

Could this deck work competitively with some tweaks? What do you guys think.

p.s. im not cutting dragon broodmother.
