Ahhh, okay I  understand now. That´s pretty cool, if you draw shard convergence. Do you think the mana base is going to be stable without it too?

Anything else you would suggest to change?

So one of the battle duals counts as two lands? Means one battle dual played lets me play the second battle dual untapped?

I´m going to replace the check duals with the battle duals. Would you agree? I´m not really sure about the synergies that might get lost here... maybe you do know more?

Okay, I think I got it now. I cut some of the expensive cards (over 300€ was a bit too much... thanks for the hint haha) and a bit of haste and draw. Although I´m not sure if its the right ratio now... I also replaced some of the removal cards with better alternatives. Three spot removals and two board wipes should be okay, I guess.

What do you think now? Anything I could add or replace? Any last advices before I go for my first battle?

So I had time to fix a bit more stuff...
I tried to find a mixture of both of your manabases (okay like that?), cut off some of the artifacts not really necessary and fixed some of the other categories.

Still there are 9 more cards left to cut. I´d like to leave the dragons as they are, but I´m not sure about what to cut or add in the Push, Card Draw and Mana Aid sections. Any suggestions? Maybe also for better replacements?

Thanks for your help! It´s getting better... I tried to clean up a bit first, but I´m still confused with the mana... I will look for some input in the forum.

Also I think the different combos with attacking and creating new dragons and them then dealing damage, should be another big theme for the deck. Now that I figured this out, should I cut another "theme" like hexproof completely or is it always good to have a bit of this and that in the deck?

Also there are some "loose" cards left like Ryusei the falling star, that seem a bit off... I don´t really know how to make it all fit ^^"

Yes I´ve already read this. I´ve cut it down to tribal specific cards. It´s more of a problem of commiting to one theme. Also I was hoping for some specific help on my friends

Hi Guys,
I´m building my first commander deck right now (-> https://deckstats.net/decks/142763/1438304-doragons) and have been studying a lot of the decks and topics on the dragon tribal the last weeks.
Right now I´m having some trouble cutting the last cards, replacing some removals with some better options and commiting to one theme.
My overall idea is to make the dragons cheap, get them haste and having some consistancy by drawing a lot of cards all the time. I´m not sure about reinforcing right now, cause normally dragons are strong enough (so no Crucible of fire actually). Also it´s just kitchen table gaming with my friends. Normally there is one board wipe every game and Planeswalkers won´t survive for too long. And still there are some other questions:

1. Which enchantements and artifacts would you cut?
2. Am I having the right ramp cards?
3. Which removals would you suggest? Spot on removal instants better than sorceries?
4. Given the conditions for our games, which dragons would you cut?
5. With my friens it´s difficult to pull big combos, cause you will 99% sure be interrupted with a removal or counter. Should I remove the tutors and maybe also the broodmother?

If you have any input or other ideas and suggestions, I´d be happy to hear from you
