Dark Devotion

This deck is made to stay in Standard after rotation. My previous deck only had 20 mana, and was focused on slowly draining my opponents down. This deck I want more aggro based, but I do not want to lose the life drain/gain aspect of it.

I have test played this against a few decks and it seems to do fairly well. Ideally here is what the turn base would be, if swamp was played per turn.

1. Thoughtseize
2. Spiteful Returned
3. Master of the Feast
4. Whip of Erebos
5. Gray Merchant of Asphodel or bestowed Spiteful Returned on Master of the Feast

Now that turn based action would be ideal I think, but I am not sure. I don't want the turn base reviewed, I would like the deck reviewed.

Possible changes, remove one Fate Unraveler and Grim Guardian, two Dictate of Erebos.
Add 4 Thoughtseize.

Surely an up vote for keeping the cards Theros block, as I was trying to do (keeps cards from leaving in October).

I was thinking about removing Font of Return, but I didn't know what to replace it with, you helped a bit. Personally I would like to keep Fate Unraveler and Grim Guardian, as those cards are at 4 each to increase the probability of drawing them. However, next FNM I attend could change my thinking.

Thoughtseize, couldn't that hurt me more than help me, if going against a burn deck? Sideboard option? I will surely add Dark Betrayal to my sideboard, as I do not have much of one currently.

Going with the theme of the deck, if I were to remove Font of Return, what do you think about adding Spiteful Returned in its place? That would be a favorable early reaction with my opponent, I think.

Life Draining Destruction

Any feedback would be helpful. I recently started playing about two months ago, and this is my main deck.

I am thinking about possibly removing Font of Return, but I am unsure what to put in place of it.

This deck drains the life out of the opponent, while using creatures to mainly defend. Master of the Feast attacks when a favorable outcome is present.

This deck is 7 - 3.

The deck is built to remain Standard for over a year.
