Golgari Elves(Numa and Nadier Partner)
My girlfriend wanted a Golgari elf deck once she saw these partners. Ive tinkered quite a bit and settled with this. Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated ^_^
I designed the deck to have a ton of early game ramp so that you can just pump the mana into Numa's ability if you dont have anything you need to cast or run out of cards. There are also some classic X spell finishers if you reach a critical mass with available mana. This gives the flexibility to have some bigger elves in the early game as well as get Nadier out faster to get tokens going. Once you get Nadier out, you can go big or go wide and big.

I wanted to round out some of the ramp to provide card draw as well. I love Empowered Autogenerater, but it is slow, and only starts to pay itself off after a few rotations. Mind stone can be recurred with Sun titan and is also turn 2 ramp which I favor. Coalition relic is fantastic, and probably better than Mind stone overall, but I wanted more turn 2 ramp and pristine talisman is already a 3 drop that needs to be in this deck.

This was the first commander deck I ever built. It began with Obzedat, Ghost Council at the helm but has had many iterations over time, eventually settling on Karlov. This deck is super fun and decently balanced so its not always totally dependent on Karlov as the only win condition or the only way to weaponize life gain. Karlov does have a habit of attracting aggro very quickly though :P

Path of Discovery and The Great Henge both work well in this build since they provide more utility than just counters.  Volrath has the magic number of power for The Great Henge too. Scourge of fleets is a fantastic wipe, but could be a bit underwhelming in a 3 color deck since the max number of islands in the whole deck are 7. Other wise, looks like a fun build!

Azami, Lady of Wizards

Hello!

Any advice on this build would be welcome. I am making this deck for a friend who is new to magic. I know Azami can be a slippery slope to being very powerful but i would like to keep it in budget and casual on the powerscale. This is my first time playing mono blue and i am not used to building around such small creatures or control.
